Vecchie glorie

Stanza con ampia visuale sul fiume e sui grattacieli, ampio buffet.

È una struttura datata, aria condizionata rumorosa, non si può fare nulla A piedi in quanto decentrato, si trova su una via a veloce scorrimento, anche se a 10 min da uno dei moli da cui prendere il traghetto. Personale abbastanza gentile ma scarso di informazioni, probabilmente anche a causa del gap linguistico. La vista sul Fiume è disturbata dalla presenza di vecchie navi merci, non ha il Fascino della vista sul fiume degli alberghi più centrali, e anche il ristorante sul fiume risente di questa vista

L’entrée est sublime, le personnel est serviable, la chambre est spacieuse et la vue sur la rivière est magnifique.

One can have better options in Bangkok at same price.

Hotel seems to be very old and around 10 kms from city centre. Rooms are very big, spacious. I have struggled with internet during my stay and it did not work. Staff is good, very polite and humble. Being vegetarian, did not have much veg. options in food.

Hotel ambience is not very attractive, internet services are not good and far from city centre.

Fantastic views from a palatial skyscraper

Unbelievable palatial-style environment, helpful staff (actually speaking English), river view from our room, warm pool under the starts, and in the morning a perfect breakfast. What's not to like! The mall nearby (Terminal 21) is also quite decent location to visit in the evening. Some quirky decorations (Paddington in Gryffindor colors on a Hogwarts Express?), but good choice of restaurants, shops and a bigger grocery store.

First of all, has to be said that the location of the hotel might be an issue for some. There's no easy way to get there with "touristy" public transport - metro, skyline, boats, etc. It wasn't a problem to us at all - we came by a tuktuk from Asiatique and left next day on a Grab taxi - but it's not as easy as it would be for some other hotels. And I think one could reach it in a bus. (There's supposed to be a shuttle to Asiatique, but it's running only a few times per day and the driver was sick if I understood correectly) Then, one thing that annoyed us, that the (excellent) pool didn't accept cards or "putting it on a room's bill". We had to go up into our room to fetch cash needed to pay for the ice cream. Usually even the simpler hotels try to make purchasing as easy as possible!

Preisgünstiges Hotel, etwas abseits vom Touristenzentrum.

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits vom Zentrum, es wird ein Bustransfer zu einem Verkehrsknotenpunkt nach Fahrplan angeboten. In direkter Lage befindet sich das Einkaufszentrum Pier31. Das Frühstück war gut und vielfältig. Der Pool in der 6. Etage ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen.

Etwas älteres Hotel aber fantastisch. Schlafen immer wie im Paradies.

Wir sind schon zum zweiten mal hier, werden auch wieder kommen. Das Personal in der Lobby ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Gartenbereich einfach nur Katastrophe.

Das Personal im Gartenbereich. Es ist echt traurig zu sehen das, das Handy wichtiger ist als der Gast. Ich bin selbst Geschäftsführer, ungelogen ich würde jeden zweiten Kündigen. Es sind nicht viele Gäste vor Ort gewesen, aber die da sind sollten verwöhnt werden. Kunde ist König. Man musste Getränke selbst holen und dann wird einen noch eine Servicegebühr abgezogen. Für was? Gibt es da keine Führungskraft? Ich habe so etwas lange nicht erlebt. Wirklich traurig.

Our stay left us profoundly impressed with the quality of your facilities, the professionalism of your staff, and the overall level of service we received. We wish to highlight the exceptional hospitality we experienced, the courteous and friendly staff, the spacious and well-appointed room, the daily provision of fresh water in our room, and the delectable breakfast offerings. We also made a special request to have breakfast in the room and a small birthday cake, and it was well executed and appreciated

While we had a truly memorable stay, we would like to offer some constructive feedback for improvement. Firstly, as per our booking, we were entitled to receive welcome drinks, fruits, and flowers in our room. Unfortunately, the reception overlooked this and failed to provide them on our arrival day. Consequently, we took it upon ourselves to place an apple, a banana, and some flowers in a vase in our room, but it didn't quite match the warm welcome we had expected. Furthermore, the windows in our room, numbered 2008, were noticeably dirty, which compromised our ability to fully appreciate the breathtaking view. Clear windows are essential to fully enjoy the stunning views.

cleanliness and helpful staff & good service. swimming pool was clean and blue~ nice view of the river and next to shopping mall. The room service’s menu and food were so delicious!! great job to the cooks. receptionist attended to my internet connection issue and needs accordingly. thank you!

when guest has put on ‘do not disturb’ sign, pls respect our request not to enter the room just to make up the room. Luckily, nothing gone missing as I left my luggage unlocked. I didn’t expect anyone to come in when that signage has been put on. Breakfast choice is not much but each of the dishes were good. coffee machine doesn’t work well. room 2008’s bathroom door can’t close at all; kindly fix it.

A very good hotel.

A very good, clean hotel with helpful and polite staff. Very good breakfast with variety (both European and Asiatic menu) which changed every day, three very good restaurants in the premises, spacious rooms and swimming pool. Next to the hotel there is a seven-eleven shop and a big shopping mall (Terminal 21) which has also many restaurants to chose from.

Not as you expect. Average hotel.

The river view, and the dining area.

The furniture were old fashioned, rooms were dull. The outside looked great but on the inside it doesn’t meet the expectations. Smelled too. It doesn’t give a happy mood upon checking in.

Good but somewhat remote location. Great big garden to the river! Regrettably this area is not open for service daytime. Why? Great views over the river.

Shower in bathroom not modern. Difficult especially for ladies. Outdoor walls need painting! Service in busy pool area almost zero. Why not have offering of snacks from surprisingly good kitchen?

Old hotel, but still very good experience

The hotel is old everywhere you look. Furniture, details, room, exterior.. Everything looks old and asking for renovation. But i felt that charming in a way. like a jump to the past, to 90s. Nice old movie feeling, cozy and relaxing. Good bathroom. Not so much guests, hotel felt more like empty. Food was delivered fast, food was good, prices also not so expensive.

Wi-Fi is bad. Connection is poor and every time you reconnect you have to log in again. Which is just typing "montien" as login as password every time. The security that is not needed, or you could make a system that remembers devices. Connection speed was also bad for 2023. Personal speaks English just like any other Thai person in the city. Which is basically just some phrases.
