Great location and the chief went out of her way to make me a lovely breakfast, dispite my diet restrictions. Bed was very comfy
Bathroom wasn't cleaned to a good standard.
8.0
The beds were clean and comfortable. Our room was good.
Breakfast plenty of selection . Staff friendly and very helpful. Good location .
Unfortunately there is no lift to get up the stairs, Although a kind young man who worked in the dining room offered to carry my bags upstairs which I was grateful for. The hotel interior is tired and needing freshened up. The shower in our room was an over the bath one, so you had to step over into the bath, but plenty hot water with good pressure . None of the above will stop me from booking again really pleasant stay.

Staff were welcoming and very helpful
The room was comfortable and clean. It's in need of some redecoration, particularly the shower room. This was probably re5flected in the price which was great for a hotel in such a beautiful location.

The hotel itself is beautiful,, the location is perfect
It’s rather old and a bit outdated,, our room was very small with a view of a 30 foot wall out of our window,

Nothing appealed. The breakfast was sub standard. The room was exactly the same as the last time we were there.
The room had a sub standard toilet door with a poor shower. The room was not clean.

Lovely hotel and staff, hotel is very secure. Rooms are a great size and breakfast was good
Some little issues but nothing that would ever stop me from coming back the wall on the bedroom the paint was coming off there was a nail sticking up in the bathroom floor and the bathroom is very dated

It was simple to check in and just what I needed
The bathroom was a little tired
6.0
Breakfast was nice. Comfortable beds.
Bathroom and bedroom was very dated and parts of the walls were stained. Water damage in the bathroom, ill fitting toilet seat, mould on walls?

Breakfast was very good.Dinner we had was good. Room was ok apart from showerroom.
Shower room was disappointing . Needs upgrading and shower was very poor for flow rate and temperature control.

location
It’s dated , it needs some TLC.
2.0
Location was good-2 day stay
The dining room staff were helpful and pleasant.
Food was good
Poor standard of cleanliness - filthy, slimey, smelly bath mat that had to be changed, which made the bathroom smell of urine!
TV remote disgustingly dirty which was cleaned on request.
Standard of cleaning generally very poor-dust and cobwebs in bathroom, skirting board, behind TV and windows.
Carpet didn’t look clean and very worn
No hooks or towel rail for towels, no toilet brush
Very limited parking.
Asked to speak to the manager early evening on first night.
No manager appeared but we were given a complimentary bottle of wine at dinner.
The hotel clearly needs a face lift, but there is absolutely no excuse for poor standards of cleanliness.

So disappointed ☹️

Good breakfast.
Staff were very accommodating particularly on our last day when we wanted to leave early but still have a cooked breakfast.
I have no criticism at all to make.

A lovely, friendly, traditional hotel
A lift would have been useful but only because I am currently recovering from surgery that affects my ability.

Very pleasant staff and friendly service. Spacious rooms and clean. Slept well and views out to sea.
As had neighbouring rooms for the children, would have been helpful to be able to put the door on the catch but unable to. Excellent otherwise.
