Suihkukoppi ahdas.

Room was a bit dated

Hotel was clean and room spacious. Balcony was a plus.
Hotel was really outdated. All the surfaces were worn out and bathroom sink was cracked. Even do not disturb signs looked like they had been in the room for 10 years 😅 No air-con and no mosquito nets in the window so couldn't keep windows open. The hair-dryer in the room was exceptionally bad. Hot items I the brekkie table were somewhat cold. Not really worth the money.

Staff, location and atmosphere were wonderful.
Rooms are dated and bed not very comfortable.

location; cleanliness; quality food; excellent service.

It is very close to activities and hiking trails, clean and nice rooms. Nice variety for breakfast.
The walls are thin, therefore you can hear everything in other rooms.

Very good breakfast and cleaning service. We had a suite for a family of 4. The view was nice (trees behind the hotel). Next to hiking trails. Good playroom for children.
The room definitely needs to be refurbished. The style is 80s or 90s and bathroom is too old for such an hotel!
Absolutely the price is too high but there are not so many turistic structures and you can’t have any choice.

The hotel is very well located in Saariselkä. The breakfast selection is great and top class. Everything you desire and need. The personnel is very friendly and service oriented. As many hotels in Finalnd, it would need a general renovation of the hotel as such , specially the rooms. Therefore the price -value is ok for Finnish standards, but in mid europe it would be a 2 star categorie due to the small rooms ( standard class) and the old outlook.

The beds were not very comfortable.

I really like food here
The decorations a little bit old

The offering at the breakfast buffet is fresh, tasty and has enough alternatives. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Also lunch and the a la carte dinner were tasty.
The hotel itself and rooms are worn out and outdated, although this didn’t come as a surprise to me. The city hotels of the Lapland Hotels chain are typically modern boutique hotels, so it’s a shame the chain hasn’t been able to renovate and modernize their hotels in the skiing destinations too.

location was good. Lot of options for activities.
breakfast was good. Restaurant was good for lunch but had no option for dinner unless included in room rent.
bathroom was small and the drain was not proper in shower. water from shower was wetting whole bathroom floor.

Excellent breakfast with a good selection of hot and cold options. Central location within the village . Close the hire and activities booking centre.
We booked a table for dinner for our first night but there was no record of this at the hotel when we arrived. Recommend going Half board which should get around this issue.

Great breakfast. Great location. Very comfortable hotel.
Hallways and room decor needs updating.

I liked everything at the apartment.
The location was great. The bus to the airport and Ivalo stops in front of hotel and you can easily walk to the ski resort and many trails. A tour company is located at the same building so you can easily get information and book tours.
I booked an apartment which was clean and cozy. It has a private sauna facility that we very much enjoyed after outdoor activities. Also, it has a balcony where we can enjoy the fresh air.
Also, the breakfast was great and staff were kind. I definitely stay here again!

The breakfast was still wonderful! We were especially happy with the receptionist, who was the friendliest ever! Thank you!
The rooms would need some renovation or at least change of some furniture.

Sauna was excellent! It was wonderful experience. Restaurant was also good. The buffet has a large variety of dishes. Especially, my daughter liked potatoes. The bus stop is in front of the hotel. It was very convenient.
The aurora room was hard to see the sky. The streetlights obstructed the view of the sky.
