Geweldige kamer met echt een fenomenaal uitzicht! Wauw!

The staff were very nice and welcoming. The spa was nice
The rooms are so dated, no soundproofing so you heard the evening entertainment until midday night. The room smelled of cigarette smoke which was disgusting, and there was a damp smell in the bathroom. The balcony doors didn't close tightly so you heard noise all night and if people smoked at the tables below you the smell came into the room.
The evening entertainment was terrible, honestly not worth the noise until midnight, no-one went to them so really the noise level versus the crowd participation needs to be thought out by the hotel. The pool is so much smaller than the photos. Also not enough foam covers for bed, standard approach from guests to put towels on beds at 7am so nothing left if you wanted something after breakfast.
There is nowhere to eat around the hotel so you have to pay for a taxi to go to restaurants if you do not want to pay the crazy prices for the buffet. You are charged to use the safe, which is madness in 2023, also you cannot set a code although the code pad is there, you are given a key to open and lock the safe, so carry that around all the time! Costs 14euros to use. You get one pool towel which you have to keep the whole holiday or pay one euro every time you want to change it.
Spar across the road so expensive, take a walk out the back of the hotel and walk to another Spar up the stairs, a lot more choice and fairer pricing, also some places to eat up there.
Loved the island but wouldn't stay here again, it's a 2 star in the rooms and 3star for facilities, mainly the spa earns them the extra but no way a 4 star!
There is a free shuttle minibus that goes into Funchal 4 times a day but has 15 seats top so you have to book at least 2 to 3 days in advance to get on. Late afternoon one you could get on sometimes a day before notice but then taco back to hotel as nothing past 6pm.

The welcome at the desk was good and the room was a good size. Water was provided in the room as well as fruit. Bathroom was very good.
We went to dining room one evening and the dining room manager explained the pricing in a way that we somehow misunderstood. We went to the wrong food cart and Instead of a tactful discreet word we were made to feel quite uncomfortable in the middle of a room full of people. The food was not great either so wasn’t a good experience. We didn’t eat dinner there again but went to a great restaurant up the road who gave better food and a friendlier welcome.
The spa floors were dirty, pool was cold and noone was on reception.
We had requested a twin room. It would be good when you request a twin if beds were separate.
The location is fine if you are picked up by coach every morning and whisked away however not much nearby if you want something to do in evening.

The location is strategic with the airport and the main road connecting the island. Spacious rooms, nice view and good breakfast (prepare yourself to a lot of choices)
The structure is a little bit old, mainly lifts and rooms.

breakfast and dinner excellent. Spacious clean hotel generally. Staff very friendly & helpful. Nice pool area with gate to prom
not much locally but bus stop across road just a couple of euros to Funchal. Hills may be a problem for some.

Friendly, polite staff, always smiling; the woman who cooked room service dinner for us was the delight of my day!
Spacious room, super comfortable bed (we stayed two nights and both slept so greatly!)
Amazing view! The sound of the ocean at night, the sunsets, sunrises - breathtaking
Good breakfast, with plenty of food to choose, enough breads, delicious fruit - many (simple) options for vegans
Bathtub, enough towels, glasses, mugs, enough space in the room and around the sink in the bathroom
Good pool, many facilities like a game room, library room etc
Balcony
Warm room, warm floor to walk barefoot
Crabs! Guys, go walk on the volcanic stones by the ocean, there are big black crabs, astonishing experience to watch them! Also there are tons of lizards around
Waste recycling and other eco things, like discounts if you do not require cleaning
Birdman (the man with the wild predator bird hanging around the pool the entire breakfast time); bird exploitation sucks!
No slippers
The toilet is somehow not not well secured to the wall
City tax not included in the price - not a big deal, just one obstacle while checking in, one more thing to care about
Only one key card for a room for two
One side of the bed has no socket
Weird bench with metal strips in the room (cuts your butt a bit while you tie your shoes), a dead armchair
To enter jacuzzi (close to the pool) you need to ask permission from some "pool staff", but there was no one to ask
Only a few restaurants and tiny supermarkets around
(We moved to the other hotel mostly because this one is far from Funchal)

it’s a beautiful hotel kind of dated because I had to change a room due to the noise of the patio door when at nights the winds are very strong and I couldn’t sleep. The breakfast is excellent and plenty to choose, the staff are working very hard to please us. The pool outside is heated so it make it easier to swim when it’s cold outside.
it’s near the sea but far from Funchal ,when the weather is not nice ,there in no much to do or go.

I liked everything, the reception staff is very polite and kind, they will always help and answer, the breakfasts are excellent, the location of the hotel is good, the hotel itself is beautiful, lots of greenery, beautiful plants, flowers and trees, thanks to each employee for their hospitality, for their work and responsiveness, we didn’t want to leave you, we will definitely come back again!

Super location for snorkeling and swimming. Very pretty sunset view. The Restaurant and pool are amazing.
Very few hiking trails nearby. Sauna and indoor pool are dirty sometimes. And for 200+ rooms there are 2 tiny saunas, which most of the time not working and you got to like beg for it. One deserve more than that at the price of 200€ per night.

The hotel had a nice reception and looked like a 4 star , easy check in , nice indoor , outdoor pool , with private access to promemade by the beach. Large bar/ sitting area with pool table and comfartable chairs. Shower good pressure in room.
Wifi atrocious in room, beds small, and hard, tv small and outdated, room cleaning not thorough. Half board does not even include soft drinks or water, and food choice a little hit and miss, good somedays, less so on others. A bit overated for 4 star overall.

Gorgeous beachfront property! Pool, ping ping, swimming, and walks on the beach made for an enjoyable stay!
Only one issue, lights in our room flickering. We just left them off.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Views Oasis. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and upgraded to a family studio, which was so appreciated. A cot bed was provided for our baby and our 4 year old got the sofa bed and a little present which was a really nice gesture!
The room was nice and well cleaned by the lovely Goretti, who we got to meet. She is the lovely housekeeper who takes great pride in her work.
Food is absolutely delicious. We have stayed in other places and I can tell you this is not your usual ‘half board’. We are also Portuguese and could tell that the food was fresh and cooked using quality produce! The buffet both for dinner and breakfast had lots of choice and was different each day. For breakfast there was even a chef cooking some hot plates! The cherry on top of the cake is Mr. Paulo, he is just so attentive, friendly and accommodating. He made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. He got us a table with more privacy (after I requested) so we could stay there with the kids and feel more at ease as I have a small baby and I am still breastfeeding. After this request, our table was there ready for us each day! He gave our kid red pepper as he found out that he adores it! In the next day he greeted him with his favourite juice! Small gestures that shows his experience, kindness and made us want to come back.
Travelling with kids, especially this small can be stressful at times so I wish the world had more Mr Paulo’s 🥰 Thank YOU! It was an absolute pleasure to meet you.
Facilities were also great! Kids playground is lovely. Bar food and drinks were also good and the weather was great so we still managed to enjoy a swim at the pool. Nice entertainment during the evenings, which we weren’t expecting since in Nov and low season.
Our child loved meeting Ana who runs the kids activities. She was really sweet and he still talks about her!
The view is stunning and we loved sleeping at the sound of the waves.
Ahead of booking, I called the property to ensure we all (including the kids) could use the indoor pool and the lady who answered the phone forgot to tell us that the spa is currently under renovations. During check-in they apologised and gave us the chance to use the spa facilities from their other hotel (Monumental) which was great and we still had a good time but it was a bit annoying to have to drive all the way to Funchal just so we could use it. But I am glad we did and it was our first time swimming with our baby and the water was warm and the facilities were also nice, however Monumental Hotel seems a little older than Oasis.
This of course wasn’t a deal breaker since we had such a great time and would love to return!
