The hotel is a nice, well-kept property. I booked a spacious loft with a comfortable bed, a small couch and a huge desk. My reservation included breakfast & options were tasty and varied. Like all Fiesta Inn hotels, they served Starbucks coffee on site, which I appreciated. Although staff were kind and tried their best to solve problems, they were not always efficient. The final price was reasonable too.
I had some inconveniences that made my stay a little unpleasant. First, there is construction going on in the area and all roads leading to the hotel are either blocked or closed off, which means the taxi must drop you off a block away and you have to walk all the way to the entrance. The hotel website should absolutely note this, as this is a major problem for drivers. Second, the water temperature in the shower was not warm enough. It took forever for maintenance to look into this, and it was only during my last day that the temperature was acceptable. Finally, you couldn't properly watch TV because of a network malfunction (also, since rooms don't have smart TVs, there's no way to stream Netflix or similar platforms; who still watches cable TV?!) If I come back to Querétaro, I'd think twice before booking this hotel again.

AC was not working really well. We were there in June and were looking forward to rooms with cold AC but this was not so cold.

I liked the cleanliness and open space of the room,
I was satisfied with everything!

The price was good and the rooms well kept.
The area of the swimming pool needs some maintenance. Also, the water was cold as hell. It is a pity that such a nice pool cannot be adequately enjoyed because of the temperature. If they correct this, it would be way too attractive for families and couples who want to enjoy the hotel.

The size of the room was great
My room had a fridge, microwave, table and so on, but I was told no food or drinks were allowed to bring in.
The pool was cleaned at 9am, so if you want to swim earlier you will do it in a dirty one.

The location is convenient for business people. The staff was friendly and helpful and the COVID safety measures where respected. The check-out was pretty quick.
The new "modern" decoration looks improvised and cheap, they built a big annexe to the main building that feels impersonal, like a hospital. Finding your room through the hallways can be confusing and it also feels like a cheaper hotel even though it's supposed to be a 4 star. Overall it looks and feels decadent in the sense that this hotel saw better times. The sofa in my room had stains.... like water stains, and there were also some scratches in the wall next to the sofa. It used to be a much better hotel 15 years ago. At night I could hear the steps from the guests upstairs and also the water running when they used the toilet or shower. For my next trip to Queretaro I believe I would look for a better hotel or at least ask for a room in the main building (not in the annexe).

They used COVID as an excuse to offer less services and products as far as food and beverage and it now seems like a poor offering. They only had varieties bottles of wine, no coffee, a limited snack bar, etc.
