I like the motel style rooms which each have their own entrance. This meant I could park the car right outside and easily carry all my bags and the dog in with no hassle. The coffee was nice. The staff were excellent. The location was right off the motorway which made travelling very easy.
The room was mostly clean, but had a strange smell. I was disappointed to see mould growing around the bathroom air vent above the shower.
The breakfast is vastly overpriced for what it is - I was really hoping for a fried egg or two but all that was on offer were some very sad looking scraps of scrambled egg.

The over all experience from check in to check out was flawless, with the added bonus of the deer walking by while having breakfast
May the light out side the room being on all night but I know this is for safety reasons etc

The staff were amazing, the rooms had everything we needed and the food was really lovely.

Location was good for Town and visiting surrounding areas.
Room smelled so strongly of dog that I had to buy a plug in air freshener.
Bed was very poor mattress was tired and painful to rest on.
Traffic noise was constant throughout night

the property was in a good location to where I wanted to be and an easy check in , staff were efficient.
the room I stayed in was clean and tidy but a little outdated now.
in the property defence there appeared to be upgrading work going on with rooms on the lower floor closed with works going on.

Surprisingly comfortable. Very clean and despite a major road being very close we slept really well. The bathroom was great too. Really good value for money
It’s not a complaint because I knew exactly where the hotel is located, but you have to use your car for every journey from the hotel

Convenient

On first morning we almost missed breakfast as we thought it was 9.30 not 9 am finish, but staff were polite and allowed us to still have breakfast.
The following morning there were no croissants all ran out , but the lady provided us with freshly cooked ones.
Very welcoming for dogs bowl of water and some toys
There was a little area for the dog to go but no poo bins for dog waste
No hooks on walls or doors to hang your coat up

We had a very comfortable stay, very friendly staff and a super breakfast - everything we could have wished for
There wasn’t anything we disliked

Hotel Location and greeting by staff on reception very good, also enjoyed breakfast, Room clean and tidy to good hygiene standard, all staff friendly and competent.
Parking convenient.
Room a bit small for two people - say 1.2 metres larger on B and W would have been great, also extra chair would have been useful.

This was my first time staying at an Ibis Hotel, and I must say, I was impressed.
What drew me here was the free parking option, but also just having somewhere to park my car.
The hotel room was very nice; it was relatively soundproof, considering it was parallel to a main road. It took me a while to figure out that the windows had pull-down blinds...
It took an entire restless night to figure out that the horrible noise was coming from the radiator!
The room was well stocked with supplies, though, and when I needed some more, I asked one of the chamber maids who was only too happy to help me.
I also liked the PAYG breakfast arrangement, which meant I could choose whether or not I would take breakfast but without the burden of paying for it upfront and then perhaps not having breakfast 😉.
Incidentally, I thought the breakfast was reasonably priced at £11.50 and it came with a good variety of options.
The radiator in room 148 is very noisy.

The member of staff who checked us in and looked after us that evening and in the morning was very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was good. I really like that you are dog friendly.
Slightly more expensive than similar hotels.

Refurbished since we stayed before. Spacious room, decorated to a very good standard. Nice big bathroom with a large shower cubicle. Comfy bed with a choice of pillows and window blinds to make the room feel warm and cosey. Plentiful breakfast which set us up for the day, served in a very pleasant dining area. Good choice of drinks served in bar. Location central for all areas of Plymouth. Free parking on site a definite bonus.
Wish the hotel was all under one roof. We got wet in the rain going to our room.

The lady on reception, called tracie, I believe, was very helpful and arranged for an early check in

Was very nice. Was a nice little getaway for me and my lad

nice compact main area, breakfast better than expected
road noise from road was high, better insulation needed

it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The beds were not very comfortable, the breakfast I am not a fan of food sitting for so long either( I do hold a food safety Certificate). It wasn’t very busy and food was just sat out in the buffet area and then on the last night with the next door neighbour banging and tell whoever to F off wasn’t great at all hours of the night.

Good room size with clean well maintained facilities and comfortable bed with hard and soft pillows which was a nice touch.
The location was excellent and located 5 mins from work which was excellent for us.
Staff were super friendly and accommodating- answering questions before we even had to ask.
The breakfast was varied and good quality apart from the scrambled egg but only a small quibble and wasn’t important to me particularly and enjoyed the rest of the food on offer.
Parking was easy with lots of space to park and the rooms were easy to access
The rooms possibly need a little more soundproofing as I was able to hear couples in other rooms eeek……😂 6am was a little early for the banging to start lol…
Also people smoking outside the rooms wasn’t ideal for us as cigarette smoke wafted under door and was definitely present in our room a few times - maybe a designated smoking area away from rooms would be a good idea

We had a great stay at last minute as a pit stop. It was clean, comfortable and easily accessible in a good location.
We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast which we really enjoyed on an early start at 7am.
Thank you
A blind on the inner window to the porch.

Easy to find. Pleased with overall condition of the room, looked like a recent refurbishment of the room had been carried out.
Very compact room space, adequate for a 1 or 2 night stop over. Ideal for business rather than recreational travel.
More a Motel rather than a Hotel.
