View, location, value for money, quiet
Bed was hard, hill was tough but gave great views.
2.5
Great location. Easy check in and check out.
Bathroom was extremely outdated and toilet was stained. Hot water ran out in the shower every day. There was only one person having one shower per day.

The staff were great, the facilities really comfortable and extremely close to the main tourist areas
5.0
Great location with Ocean views and in close proximity to restaurants and shopping areas. The room was clean and contained all necessary facilities.
The walk up the steep hill to the resort.
4.5
THE VIEW IT WAS 10 POINTS EXCELENT THE SUN IT WAS IN FRONT OF ME ALL DAY LONG
EVERYTHING IT WAS FOR ME OK
4.0
The view was amazing
The hill and stairs, however that why the view is beautiful.
2.0
Unit was clean and spacious
Car parking very tight, noisy with builders, lots of stairs to carry bags up and down. View not great. No WiFi which is very uncommon these days especially for the price we paid.

Had a great view. The studio was well renovated. We could access our car from straight outside the front door. The kitchen had everything you needed for a short stay including a full size fridge. Would stay again.
Difficult to eat on the balcony of an evening due to the pesky cockatoos. Stop feeding the birds visitors!
2.5
Size of room
Outdated, lack of facilities- not even a coffee maker and shower over bath really not acceptable- if I had of known this I would not have made the booking. Disappointed no cooking facilities besides microwave or dishwasher. My friend was in a studio fully renovated upstairs and paid the same price and had a coffee maker!

Location was great, 5 minute walk to Airlie Beach main road & Woolworths. View from balcony was lovely, straight over the beach. Bed was comfortable. TV had lots of channels, including a range of films.
Our biggest issue with the property was the WiFI. We didn’t have WiFi in our apartment at all, which was extremely inconvenient (especially when the price of the apartment wasn’t cheap). Apartment was quite dated, especially the kitchenette and bathroom. Parking was tricky and there was no general rubbish bin in the carpark for us to take out. Hotel on a very steep hill.
3.5
4.5
Location, clean and comfortable.
We were right above the bar and was a bit noisy until late.

We love staying at Whitsunday Terraces. Mostly for the location (staff are great too). It’s a groovy fun place, especially on weekends, with the restaurant and bar onsite.
It’s a little old so some of the furnishings and crockery etc could be bought up a notch to compensate. I think units are owner owned so maybe it’s out of their control but we think it’s needed.
4.0
The location was great, it was a 5 minute walk into town to get groceries or swim at Airlie Beach Lagoon, the bars or restaurants and the start of the Bicentennial Boardwalk around to Cannonvale. Although it is on a steep hill the location has a million dollar view from unit 55.
It is not so much a negative but because the complex is terraced just be aware that there is no elevator here only stairs.

服务太好了,英语也不太好,但是服务人员耐心的与我们沟通。还很贴心的帮我们预定往返机场的 bus。海景房,空间也很大,可以做饭。

Location was excellent to everything
No WiFi in the unit

The location was excellent
TV stopped working and some items are tired

The location is second to none, especially for the price. Yes, it is up a steep hill so may not be accommodating for some travellers but it was fine for us to walk into the heart of Airlie or to the port. I did read that each apartment was independently owned so do expect furniture to be slightly different to the images. Our room was comfortable, and easy to access and although, right above the restaurant and pool - it still managed to be private. If you do get an apartment above the restaurant do know that it does get quiet around 10pm which we appreciate. The view was also great - I bet the higher apartments had an even more amazing view!
Perhaps allocated parks, not that we missed out but it was a bit funny having people park right at our doorstep. Other than that I can't fault!
3.5
Loved the view. Room was okay. Location was excellent.
Building was a little old & it was a very steep climb to the premises.
2.5
Location was great with shops and restaurants 5 min away. Steep hill but that’s expected if you want a view.
- Not clean: the terrace was dirty. We had tiny ants all over the room and mice poo on the kitchen counter. We had over 5 cockroaches in less than 4 days in the kitchen and one even crawled on me during the night. Absolutely awful experience! The staff said Airlie is full of cockroaches, fair enough but by cleaning the rooms often you wouldn’t have that many.
- Lack of lighting in the room. The only light we had was behind a wall in the kitchen (totally useless for the living space) and outside on the terrace.
- No cleaning, change of towels, etc for over 4 days… For that price that’s a bit much! Also, if you want people to clean, you need to leave enough cleaning products to do so. We had none!
- Walls are very thin: we could hear what the neighbours were saying as we had a door connecting our room to theirs.
3.5
Great view overlooking the Port from the balcony and the pools.
Close to the centre of town.
Anchor Bar underneath super handy for drinks and food - best chicken wings around.
We were given a unit at the very end of the set of 6 blocks and it was a long steep hill walk every time. There were shortcuts but these also had stairs. please keep this in mind if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage. We did end up taking advantage of hotels pick up/drop off's where possible.
The room was large but outdated. Furniture was old but functional.
The doors including toilet/bathroom door were deaigned to improve ventilation and not soundproof, in case this is an issue.
3.5
The view and proximity to town.
The property was a little run down and tired looking. Toilet holder was detached. Kitchen was not as well equiped. The lack of wifi in the room is a real disadvantage.

Wonderful staff, views and location
1.0
Close to centre of town
Facility very basic and outdated. Bathroom is very old, no vent
3.5
The views were amazing
The unit was big and great views I wouldn't call it superior, however. Needs a little updating and a good clean.
4.5
Really good value for money. Clean facilities and the bar adjacent to the pool (Anchor Bar) was just fantastic with great food, xo tails and service. Brilliant views and not too far ‘up the hill’ from the Main Street.
Shower water pressure wasn’t very good.
2.0
The location was great, walking distance to town, restaurants and bars. The views are fantastic. Pool, onsite restaurant & bar were great.
Unfortunately unit 20a was in bad need of a makeover. Curtains were stained, carpet was disgusting, bed was sagging. The bath & shower hadn’t been scrubbed for ages. Mouldy grout & ceiling, curtain falling off. Very disappointing.
4.0
The view from the room was great, and it's very close to the main street so handy to the supermarket, restaurants and bars, and the Whitsunday Markets (Saturdays). Staff were great to deal with - I had to request a room where I didn't need to use stairs (due to a dicky knee) and they placed me in a room that was on the same level as the car park. Room was nice and clean. The resort has it's own bar/restaurant on site, by the pool. Everything went very smoothly.
The following points are not so much "didn't like" as they are "good to know". Some are mentioned in the info about the resort on Booking.com, but if you have movement issues you need to make sure you read it thoroughly before booking. E.g., there are no lifts, however as mentioned I was able to request a room that didn't require me to use the stairs. That said, I travelled at an off-peak time, so this may be less possible when they have a lot of bookings. The property is on a steep hillside so if you're not able to manage the slope you'll need to drive when coming and going. The tiles in the shower are very smooth so rather slippery - take care when showering. My room was just above the bar/pool area so I did hear noise when in the living areas of the apartment, but fortunately I couldn't really hear it from the bedroom.
One thing not about the property itself, but visitors from out of town might like to be aware that the town water tastes pretty awful even when boiled. However, you can buy a 5 or 10 litre carton of water at the Woolworths across the road to use for drinking.
4.0
The view is stunning and the room are large. The bathrom was modern
The corridor lights on all night and shining through the curtains into the bedroom. No lift and only stairs to manoeuvre with heavy bags. No wifi in the rooms unless you are next to reception
2.5
Excellent views of Airlie Beach and modern decor
The Wi-Fi didn't work, were stingy with toilet rolls and the hill from the local shops to the resort was a strain
4.5
The view was amazing!!!
We have to walk up the hill, but because Im pregnant was a bit harder, but for my daughter and husband was ok
2.5
Views good.
Car parking access good.
Staff fine.
Closeness to the main area very good.
Quiet for 6 out of 7 nights.
Steep hill to get up to apartment.
Very hard on legs.
Had to hire a car and use taxi.
So factor in that cost.
Caused knee issues for me. Strained .
To offset this maybe a golf cart pick up from downtown on call would have sorted this problem.
Very noisy neighbour's one out of 7 nights.
Reflected noise from apartment above unavoidable with hard tile foors on concrete.
Tv small but selection good.
Fridge loud but worked well.
Tile floors would benefit from an industrial clean with machines.
Bathroom not that clean. Especially tile floors and mold.
No washing machine in apartment..had to use communal at 4 dollars. Plus the walking up and down levels. Also easy to get lost on first day or two doing this.
No dishwasher but good double sink and excellent hot water. So ok.
I feel that the price is a bit high for what is offered.
3.0
Location and views excellent. Reception staff friendly.
Room sub standard and disappointing. Needs sprucing up... paint, new couch, wall prints . Kitchen light didn't work, bathroom tap needs fixing. Best thing about room was the view.
4.5
location, access to pool, convenient bar by the pool.
the music from the bar kept us up a little at night.
