Meer dan prima hotel op zeer goede locatie

Zeer schone en mooie kamers. Makkelijk parkeren en prima ontbijt. ( wit brood om te toasten ontbreekt echter ) Zeer vriendelijk personeel en erg leuk de voucher voor een welkomsdrankje. Ligt op korte loopafstand van de gezellige winkelstraat.

Eigenlijk geen echt negatieve zaken maar : Een extra koffieautomaat , witbrood voor de toaster ( nu staat de toaster er wel laar er kan niets in ) zou wenselijk zijn. Ook de temperatuur in de kamers zouden wat beter afgeregeld mogen worden. Zijn erg warm en de airco op max. doet niet heel veel.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gigantisch. Vor allem aber hat uns wieder das enorm nette, entgegenkommende und herzliche Personal im MERCURE Duisburg begeistert .

Schöner Kurzurlaub

Ausreichendes Frühstücksbüffet, freundliches Personal, insbesondere beim Frühstück und die Reinigungskräfte. Kleines, aber ausreichendes Hallenbad mit Sauna.

Es gibt keine Parktickets vom Hotel, die 24 Stunden Gültigkeit haben. Dadurch wird das Parken teuer, wenn man für kürzere Zeit die Tiefgarage verlassen muss. Keine Lademöglichkeiten für E-Autos in der Tiefgarage.

Toller Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder!

Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und sauber. Man konnte in den Betten sehr gut schlafen. Auch das Schlafsofa war sehr bequem. Für Kinder gibt es eine kleine Spielecke im Foyer. Die Sauna war für uns das Highlight!

Der Pool war leider sehr kalt. Für unseren 3 Jährigen etwas doof, hat ihn aber trotzdem nicht am planschen gehindert!

Value for money!

The location is just at the center, near shopping centers and restaurants. Easily reachable by public transportation as well as private car. The room has a complimentary coffee machine, drinking water, and a refrigerator.

The cleanliness of the room could be improved. The hotel advertises reducing the emissions by hanging a notification "please do not clean this room", but this is a bit sad because the room was not that clean. No operating instructions for the coffee machine and how to operate the room heater.

Mit geheiztem Zimmer wäre es ein guter Aufenthalt geworden!

Sehr nettes zuvorkommendes Personal!

Das Zimmer war während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht beheizt! Die Klimaanlage produzierte nur kalte Luft! Der Hausmeister hat sich am Tag der Ankunft gekümmert, leider ohne Erfolg. Habe das Gefühl, mit dem Wochenende war das Problem nicht mehr seins, er hatte ja schließlich Wochenende! Die Wärme konnte nicht in das 5. OG gepumpt werden.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, die Nähe zum Bahnhof, Frühstück, Zimmer, Personal -alles war super gut

Das Hotel ist vom Bahnhof aus sehr gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, und die Betten bequem. Es gab einen Kühlschrank und eine Kaffeepad-Maschine. Das Zimmer war gut isoliert. Straßenlärm oder vom Nachbarzimmer war nichts zu hören. Beim Frühstück gab es von allem jederzeit reichlich Auswahl.

Im Eingangsbereich des Zimmers gab es eine Garderobe mit Kleiderbügel. Leider konnte man dort keine Hose aufhängen. Kleiderhaken waren nicht vorhanden. Im Bad gab es auch keinen Kleiderhaken, nur Schienen für die Handtücher. Das WC war so ungünstig platziert, dass man im Sitzen beim Vorbeugen sich den Kopf an der gegenüberliegenden Wand anschlagen konnte. Man konnte nicht bequem auf der Toilette sitzen. Es war zu eng. Da der Duschbereich keine abschließende Türe hatte, nur eine Trennwand, spritzte das Wasser sehr weit in den offenen Bereich. Leider gibt es nur einen Aufzug für das gesamte Hotel. Das ist eindeutig zu wenig.

Location is top in terms of the town centre, shops, restaurants….etc, and also how close to the motorway it is but without being in eye or earshot of it. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Value for money wise, this is a very good hotel.

Over the years the quality and content of the breakfast has diminished, which is a shame. And some areas of the hotel are also looking a bit shabby and in need of redecoration. Also, the swimming pool hasn’t been in operation the last two times we’ve stayed.

Very good price, with sweet good staff in a little old timey hotel.

Staff was friendly and efficient, and the pool was sweet!

The hotel is a bit old, but it’s still solid, bonus for the renovated bathroom! We all appreciated it. The worst was that..The bed weren’t comfortable; it was missing that little ‘sleeping on a cloud’ that would make all the little old things around acceptable; like sleeping at a good friends, where you don’t mind the old carpet, but you sleep really well.

Great one night stay to break up a journey from Berlin back to South England. Room was perfect!

We weren’t aware that breakfast was included so we didn’t go to the restaurant, but later found out breakfast was included in our price.

Communication about the breakfast being included would have been perfect!

My wife and i really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay here again.

food and Drink was very good, all staff spoke English. we arrived early and left our bags at the reception who put them away safe. also it was no problem to do the same when leaving. Hotel is only a short walk from the main shopping area.

Carpet in hall way was very worn and faded,but this is the only fault i have.

Nice and pleasant stay

Breakfast is very extensive with lot of varieties. I also liked the location of the hotel, it is quite near to lot of restaurants.

There is no parking available from hotel. Hotel will tell you to park in public parking which is very expensive.

The carpets on the second floor was absolutely poor quality. Hotel lobby was poorly maintained. The cleaning services took place only alternative days which came with the great surprise. It should have been communicated while booking.
