Great room, brilliant staff who were so obliging as we did not speak much German, fantastic breakfast. Loved that we stayed in a traditional German house. Very close to main train station, tram stations and great Irish pub and eateries. Short walking distance to shops and other sites of interest.

- very good location close to the main rail station, as we were traveling by trains; close to the city center;
- very kind staff, good and very nicely served breakfast;
- comfortable beds and a spacious room;
- although the hotel is at a main and noisy street, the windows are well insulating the noise.
- there is no lift and the stairs are high;
- we could not find a decent place for dinner in the close surroundings.

The hotel is nice and cosy, the welcome by the owner was warm. Old school hotel but very charming, and equipped with all the essentials. Enjoyed the stay very much

Nice hotel family run, friendly hosts. Breakfast very good. Nearby parking arranged by hotel.
we had rooms facing the backyard so it was quiet. They have window blinds also so especially in the summer important, it gets dark in the night.
It is a little old fashion, but it has his charm. For the price we payed, very good value for money and very cosy.

Centrally located, easy to reach for train travellers (100m from main train station), close to city center. The breakfast is outstanding - please note it is not served as a buffet (as it was described in booking.com at the time we booked) but you can have almost everything you want and it is served in a very appealing way. The room was excellently quiet, the mattresses are very comfortable.
The bathroom in our room was extremely small

There was no elevator but they will help you if needed.

Lovely family-run hotel, great location, attentive staff, quaint decoration, delicious breakfast.
The breakfast room didn't open as early as it was supposed to.

Room was quiet although the hotel is on a busy street. Breakfast is served and rich, you can choose how you want your egg. Decoration very cosy, especially for me as person who loves roses and nice porcelaine.
A bit difficult to find as address L14.15 is confusing- you have to know that L14 is a street, but 15 - house number.

Lovely, old-fashioned (in the best meaning of the word) hotel in the center of the city, 5 minutes walking from the Mannheim Hbf. It is family-owned and one can feel a true atmosphere of being at home.
Great contact with the owners over the Booking messages before one arrives and then face-to-face, when already there. They accommodate one's needs, as much as humanly possible. I got a nice vegan breakfast, they helped me cancel one day of my stay, when my airline canceled my flight, they changed my room to a quieter one and gave me tips on where to find what.
The hotel has a lovely little backyard with flowers and tables, where you can sit and relax.
I really felt at home! I was there for work, a one-time issue (a conference), but if I ever come to Mannheim again, I will definitely try to stay with them. I did not get to see a lot of Mannheim, due to a busy schedule, but it seems like an interesting city to visit and the central location of the hotel makes it easy.
All my best to Ursula and her two daughters, Andrea and - I am sorry, but I did not get the other daughter's name. You rock, in a classical way :)
No A/C (not a problem, as it wasn't too hot and each room is equipped with a little fan).
No English-speaking channels on the TV (again, not a huge problem, I didn't go there to watch TV and I can read the news on the computer/smartphone).
No electric kettle in the room (again, not a huge problem, as once I wanted to drink some herbal tea of mine in the room, as I worked late in the evening, and I got from Ursula a whole tray with a sweet little ceramic jug full of hot water and a cup, which I could return the next day).
The no A/C issue could be a bit of a problem when the temperatures outside rise and if you get a room from the main street side. It is a really busy street, now with the ongoing exchange of the tram tracks near the train station and on Kaiserring, it is probably even busier - read, louder.
I was lucky because upon request my front room got quickly changed to a backyard room, which was much quieter, but I guess if the hotel is fully booked, this might not be an option.
Surprisingly (again, this might be just my perspective, I am quite weird), the fact that towels got exchanged each day, even when I left a little note that there was no such need. My soft spot for ecology suffered...

The staff was very nice, the room was clean and quite large, the bed comfortable. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The hotel is centrally located and very close to the main railway station.
It was summer, and my room on the top floor was very warm and not air-conditioned. (A fan was provided, though).
The street noise outside was loud even at night. This was partly due to traffic, partly due to construction works.

Older traditional style German hotel. Very clean and central. Breakfast was huge and excellent as usual in Germany. Room overlooked a courtyard and was quiet.
Everything was great, some may need an elevator but for us was fine.

Cant complain about the hotel. It was situated in a lovely location near to train and town centre. the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were just wonderful and helpful.
The only disadvantage from the hotel is that there is no lift available. This makes bringing luggage to the room difficult. also for those with disability to climb to 2nd floor is a chore.

Clean and charmingly furnished. Great breakfast.
There is no lift, so you have to be prepared to climb a few stairs!

The hotel is really charming and managed by very hospitable hostess. The breakfast was served personally: eggs/omelette, yogurt with fruits, choice of cheese, jam, honey, fresh bread. The room was warm in spite of cold weather, and you can fix the level of heating. The situation is 10/10, it is center of the city and only 3 min by walk from Mannheim Hbf.

This is a family-run hotel, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a particular highlight, I could order at the table from a wide choice. Despite the perfect location, the room was very quiet.
