Another nice detour for a stopover on a long trip, and not all that far from the autobahn.
Our room was in a building attached to the inn by a covered way. It was very clean and comfortable, and everything was in good working order. The keys were the old-fashioned kind, and we accidentally left with ours, hidden in my wife's handbag, so we had to return it by post. Our fault but, maybe, had there been someone at the reception desk, they would have reminded us to check out thoroughly - but that's a very minor point.
The breakfast was really good and we had plenty to set us for the day and our onward journey.
When we arrived, there appeared to be nobody at reception. We waited for a while, a little puzzled, until we were helped by a lady whom we take to be a member of the family (I suspect that the staff or owner had been called away from their post). This wasn't a major problem for us though, and we found the rest of the check-in experience perfectly in order. So, I would not take this as a serious criticism.

Breakfast was very good, I came so late restaurant was closed so it wasn't a problem - chef prepared for me something to eat :)

The hotel seems to be divided into two buildings. The main building which holds a number of bedrooms, the recption area, a bar, restaurant and breakfast area.
All locations of the hotel seemed to be very clean. We stayed in the adjacent building which has a number of additional bedrooms and seemed newly decorated/painted at least, but could have been new or completely done up.
The bedroom was very clean as was the bathroom. There were not many people staying when we were there, but I was told the rooms had been given extra noise insulation.
Parking was free and lots of it across the street and next to the building.
There is a garden area as well as a location to eat a meal outside in summer.
Next to the hotel is a railway line but we never heard anything.
The owners told us they were still very short on staff which was clear with the owner is also being the cook with I think two more kitchen staff. The lady of the house and one or two others did the cleaning, dinner and breakfast service.
Breakfast was good and enough variation to satisfy all, both cold and warm items being available.
Nice place to stay while visiting the local sights, although some towns are over an hour away.
Not much, but then we did not stay more than two nights and were away all day.
The nearby town normally an attraction in its own right has suffered massively from freak flooding and there is rebuild work going on everywhere around the hotel.

Nice hotel, a short drive from Bad Münstereifel. Room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Ample parking space.
Not unusual in Germany, but my pillow was very thin.

Beautiful little town; friendly family business who are all very welcoming.
Restaurant not open on Monday / Tuesday. Wi-Fi is ok, but you have to move around in the room to get the strong signal.

Rooms are simple but clean.
