Location excellent and appreciated staying in the old town of Salzburg, was very convenient for the medical conference I was attending at the conference centre, easy walking distance and so near to the beautiful Mirabell Palace and Gardens :)
Slightly difficult to check in after 7 pm, as took several go's to scan passport before accepting, so somewhat anxious about this, even though we were well informed that there would be a digital check-in after hours and I was phoned when at London Gatwick to remind me (although already knew this).

Perfect location, in the center of old town. Staff were friendly and professional. Nina, at the front desk, was
exceptional - 10/10 hospitality. Great selection for breakfast.
Parking was offsite, 8 min walk, but understandle due to the hotel prime location. Parking garage was safe and easy to locate. Also, have the option to drop off luggage before parking in the garage. Nina was super helpful.

the only things is the location
the hotel shouldn’t be rated as 4 stars maybe 2 stars or less. the rooms were spacious but the furniture is over dated, the room service is from 7AM to 10PM, after 10PM no one is available to support. the cleaning is so bad. the breakfast is so so so cheap, the bread is not fresh, and no choices of cereal or anything, even the main food in a breakfast was not there. I had to bring my cereal with me every morning and just use there milk, and used to bring our own tea bags and cheese. at last but not least the hotel has a lot of stairs so coming with lots of bags is something really tiring and even for anyone with wheel chair it’s not possible for them to stay in this hotel. in short will never stay in at all and don’t recommend it for any one. with the same price I could booked another hotel with better services and facilities.

Great ambience. Terrific and helpful staff. Food and staff in attached restaurant also terrific.

Location great - breakfast fine - room adequate

Historical building located right on main walking street. Convenient to anywhere we went. Breakfast good and lots of restaurants nearby.
Seemed very cramped, but that's expected. Just difficult for 2 women with large suitcases to function easily, but otherwise very pleasant room.

The location was perfect for exploring Salzburg during the day and night. It was close to Mirabell Palace so that we could go see a performance of Mozart’s music in the marble hall in the evening and it was a great spot to start the day to walk across the river into the old town shops and restaurants. We walked from the train station easily but you could also taxi if needed. The great variety of bars within about a block or two were all gems and the location made it easy to stroll home. The breakfast in the morning always got us off to a perfect start. The staff were all incredibly nice and a friendly smile to greet you including at the restaurant which had great food and drinks too!
The only thing I’d recommend is providing conditioner and lotion instead of just shampoo and soap. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Phenomenal location, fun "authentic" Austrian room in a historic hotel and near all the great tourist destinations, shops, grocery stores and sights! We definitely plan to stay here again whenever we're in Salzburg! Very charming spot and a true find!
Our King bed had two twins (European style bed) but the mattresses should have been closer together for a couple as they were in other stays we had in Europe throughout Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

location, friendly & homely
it was very hot ! the heating needed turning down.

Everything about the hotel is fantastic, from the location to the staff and the food.
Personally I would have liked to have coffee making facilities in the room. Also the bar area was not suitable for my wife as all of the seating was high seating and is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Location was great. the staff was wonderful.

The room was large and the kitchen gave us the opportunity to cook breakfast each day and keep wine in the room. The bathroom was very large with 2 sinks. The restaurant and bar were very nice also.
The booking.com advertisement lead me to believe that the apartment had two separate bedrooms. Upon arrival, my travel companion and I learned that the price was only for a one room apartment. While the hotel manager did offer to open the second room for an additional cost, I feel that Booking.com mis-represented the property in their advertisement.
