Nádherný luxusní pobyt

Paní recepční nabídla zdarma upgrade pokoje. Ubytování pak bylo ve velkém luxusním, nově zrekonstruovaném pokoji ve 3.patře. Velká koupelna s rohovou vanou. Naprostá spokojenost.

Vše bylo bez chyby.

Pěkný pobyt v Brně

Hotel má dobré umístění hned naproti hlavnímu vlakovému nádraží. Oceňuji příjemný personál, moderní zařízení a čistotu. Pokoj byl prostorný a velmi pěkně vybavený. Velmi se mi líbily dotykové obrazovky na pokoji, kterými se ovládalo topení/klimatizace, zvonek u dveří a požadavek úklidu/nerušení. Ráda bych také poděkovala velmi vstřícné recepční, slečně Manuele, která nám pomohla s problémem, který jsme měli s topením.

Topení na pokoji spíše nefungovalo. Ovládání bylo nastavené, jak má, ale v pokoji jsme měli nízkou teplotu. Recepční nám však pomohla a zapůjčila nám elektrický přímotop a slíbila, že topení v příštích dnech nechá zkontrolovat.

Excelente localização

Excelente café da manhã e ótimo restaurante (jantamos e almoçamos lá). O hotel fica defronte da estação rodoviária e ferroviária e perto das atrações (fizemos tudo a pé). Apesar de antigo, o hotel tem boas instalações.

The best experience we’ve had in a hotel

We had car problems and the repair shop only spoke chech so the administration helped to speak with the mechanics and provided all the assistance needed, 10/10 stay

Fabulous stay, great location in particular.

Fantastic location, a few minutes from the train station and the stop for the airport bus. Lovely, comfortable, large room that was incredibly quiet. Great staff and a wonderful breakfast buffet.

Comfortable stay in a great location!

I stayed here for a quick day trip with my daughter to explore the city -- right across from the train station, comfortable, friendly staff, everything was great!

Recommend this hotel!

Excellent hotel with great service, breakfast and restaurant. I've had very large room, location is right next to city centre, oposite to train station. In the night maybe it's a bit more loud due to the location, but no major problems.

The safe broke. The hotel bar closed at 8pm. No tea/coffee facility in room. Breakfast very poor.

Superb

The hotel was a treat. Good sized and comfortable room, agreeable and helpful staff, good breakfast and restaurant. And all within a short walk of the lovely city centre.

There really was nothing we would complain about. Some (but not us) might complain about the noisy and busy traffic, trams and trains outside, but to us it was simply part of this lovely vibrant city!

Good location

It is located right in front of train station, pretty comfy and clean. There is restaurant and gym as well, we haven't tried to use neither of them but still nice to know that there is possibility.

Internet connection, didn't manage to get connected at all. When you hear Grand hotel, you expect it to be very fancy but I would say it was average. But still good.

High class atmosphere at a very affordable price.

Extremely spacious room (and bathroom). Very nice restaurant, able to provide a full menu for dinner despite my late arrival (almost 10 pm), and buffet breakfast with a good range of food. Had a 'traditional' high class hotel vibe, for a surprisingly reasonable price. I only visited for one night (work trip), but would have liked to stay longer. Extremely convenient location opposite railway station and around the corner from the old city centre.

The hotel seems old-fashioned, but the furniture is very well maintained and my room was clean.

I never knew where the lift is. It would be nice to put some signs.

First class hotel, very convenient and a great deal.

The hotel is very nice. The staff is friendly, the rooms are modern, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are very nice with lovely, very deep tubs. Everything is very clean. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety. The prices are extremely reasonable. Among the things to do, if you get a chance, is to go to the opera, which is within walking distance. The standards are very high, the production we saw, from singers to sets to choreography, were exceptional, and the price was incredibly cheap. You also get to see a remarkable cross-section of society.

We were there in February and the weather was a bit bleak and the Czech Republic generally has been suffering because of the war in Ukraine, which makes it harder to judge. The hotel is very convenient, directly across the street from the main train station and within easy walking distance of some very nice parts of Brno, but the street itself is not particularly attractive and the view is mostly of construction.

Stay at a beautiful room in a central location

Great location, very friendly staff (we even got an update for a beautiful and very comfortable room). Breakfast had a variety of things in a very nice atmosphere.

Nice to return after a number of years away, hopefully our comments will be useful

Recently refurbished room, so in excellent condition and nice decoration. Stayed before and always enjoy going back. Reception staff we very helpful and welcoming

The shower needs a shelf for the toiletries as the only options are to hold them continuously or put them on the floor. As you get older on the floor isn't ideal. A personal observation but we think the breakfast room has lost it's atmosphere after the refurbishment. We understand it is an improvement as a restaurant but not as a breakfast room. We also don't agree with a dog being allowed to sit on a material seat/bench and continuously jumping up and putting it's feet all over the table no matter who owns the dog. We understand it was the manager/owner's dog, but we really don't agree with it.

Hiccups at first, but got better.

Comfy beds. Mostly no noise. Great location. Good housekeeping.

Upon arrival we found thick cigarette smoke in the original room we were allocated, but we were quickly changed to a non-smoking room. Drilling on last day at 10am above room.
