Close to the station, easy to take bus to the Etna and to the airport.
Staff was very unfriendly, they asked to pay th room in advance.
I wrote them message, they never replied.
The breakfast was very simplistic.

I liked the staff - very friendly and helpful with all my questions and inquiries. Room had an air conditioner - big bonus. Room was spacious and was cleaned every day. Great espresso and cappuccino - prepared by staff during breakfest.
Unfortunately, free toiletries included only shampoo and soap and the shower is narrow. The building is quite old so the price you pay is for convenient location and good customer service.

The only thing I did like about this place was a very kind man working behind the desk.
This place leaves a lot to be desired. I was waken up by screaming staff while preparing breakfast at 07am.

I chose this hotel for access to the airport. It was very easy and their shuttle service was very helpful. It was also nice to be by the beach. It is not convenient if you wish to travel into Rome or other locations.

Lovely small hotel. Comfortable, clean, good location for train/bus, friendly helpful staff. No issue with holding on to our bags after check-out till we were leaving the city. Normal 'Italian' breakfast of pastries and also fruit and yoghurt and hard boiled eggs - which we were surprised to see eaten as you would a piece of fruit (shelled of course!). No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Danilo at the reception was perfect! Very friendly, helpful and hard working, gives you a nice smile all the time! Our room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast variety is very good if you compare it to breakfast you can get anwhere else in Italy. Catania train and bus station very close to the hotel, literally max. 5 minutes walking.
Rooms facing the street get quite noisy, as the main street is very busy 24/7. Air condition gets sometimes a bit loud.
Breakfast could start at 7 in the morning, as sometimes you need to set off for the whole day trip, or to the airport quite early.

The hotel is a simple small hotel, overpriced but it has all the minimum requirement. Bathroom in the room is decent and overall cleanliness is good.
It has been simply a terrible experience. During the check in two dodgy homeless enter the small lobby without luggages or whatever. After went in the room I went down to ask water, and the dodgy homeless were 6, occupying the lobby like a gang. Probably for the location close to the station, the hotel may attire people looking for cheap rooms. Unfortunately the door of the room is so light that it doesn't give you any sense of safety. Hospitality in Catania is overall terrible, so avoid to sleep in this city if you can.
I booked two nights but the morning after, I took the first airplane home to leave the city. The manager in the lobby understood the terrible experience and promised me a refund, but nothing has been refund. I've waited 25 days, I didn't want to share the terrible unsafe feeling I pass, but better be aware before booking.

Perfect location! Close to buses, train station and the center.
It could get a little noisy.

The hotel offered a great selection for breakfast in the morning and the location made it easy to get around to explore the city and surrounding area. Very clean rooms. The manager was exceptionally helpful in making our stay enjoyable and it was great having access to an elevator.

easy access
the room had barely any lightening - and also difficult to get to the sockets. the guy at the reception had no idea about local insights ( how much would a taxi cost until certain main touristy areas. the morning guy tried to. barge me for my stay even though I had already paid for it.
