Atlantis Bay is consistently great!

This was our second stay at Atlantis Bay hotel and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. We were welcomed warmly and our room was beautiful with amazing views of the sea. The breakfast is fantastic with a full selection of quality foods and the staff always ready to please. It is very easy to get around Taormina from the hotel's location with the cable car close by and the fantastic Lido Caravella beach club a short walk away.

The perfect anniversary getaway.

The hotel was stunning in such a perfect location. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main town, but a 5 minute walk to the cable car which runs very efficiently.

Great breakfast, very good restaurant for dinner. Amazing views and very friendly staff.

Unexpected wedding in front of our balcony during two of three nights that we booked and the hotel is not suited for strollers (full of stairs, some without a ramp). On the night that we came, there was a wedding that we did not know about. The staff promised that the music will end by 24:00, it did not. At 00:30 I came to the reception, they were surprised that there is still music playing (also that means they never cared to check). By ~00:35 the music stopped. At around 01:00 the afterparty started and the music was going until ~02:00. Not cool. In the morning of our the Office manager Carmen informed us that there will be another wedding during our last night (even though the staff told that there will not be any more events during our stay). Not cool again. We decided to check-out immediately. At that point they offered another suite (still facing the wedding) but I felt that I cannot trust this establishment any more and demanded for a full refund of our stay. They rejected the claim, but thankfully, booking.com stepped in and managed to negotiate that we would not pay for the last night and there would be no additional charges. Am I satisfied with the hotel? No. They ruined our time in Taormina but it seems that the General manager - Mellissa Noce (which, by the way was not reachable at that moment) is ok with that.

A wonderful stay in a premium hotel with superb facilities, located on Taormina's stunning coastline

Atlantis Bay’s team were extremely attentive from the moment we arrived at this gorgeous hotel on Taormina’s beautiful coastline. They continued to take excellent care of our needs throughout our stay. Our modern hotel room had been designed and appointed to a very high standard, whilst keeping all of the historical charm of the hotel and its surroundings. Our private terrace with views over a tranquil fishing cove was an incredible place to experience room-service breakfast and start the day! Thank you Team Atlantis Bay (Giuseppe, Fabrizio, Mariella and all the rest of the team) for a truly wonderful stay and we very much look forward to returning!

Given we arrived slightly before peak season, access up to Taormina's old town was not available via cable car, but a bus service does run between the hotel and Taormina on a regular (30 minute) basis. Alternatively taxis can be arranged by the hotel.

Beautiful and relaxing

Absolutely stunning hotel. My favourite spot in Sicily. Hotel facilities and grounds were amazing. Staff were very nice and cleaners were very prompt. Our room seem to always be serviced when we returned to it no matter the time of day. Very comfortable beds. Cute balconies with sea views. Breakfast buffet and dinner at the restaurant was 5 star.

Very noisy at night with train passing right behind the hotel quiet frequently and sounded like maybe some track works. Might not be a good option for light sleepers, otherwise bring ear plugs. 25€/day for parking. Overall a bit expensive but I still think it was worth it.

the views are stunning and the room was very good. the staff are super attentive from front desk to pool staff.

there’s a train running through hotel regularly which isn’t ideal when trying to relax. value for money: it’s super expensive for everything…to water at pool to tonic charged separately costing 6euro on top of a gin. the hotel sits in a beautiful bay bf so many party boats moor so they are super loud: the hotel should influence more on where they can moor…it’s disappointing for customers trying to relax

The beach staff lost or wasted my cream maybe by mistake. I highlighted this to the hotel staff and they decided to let the beach bar staff to buy the cream for me. Very stupid from the hotel management from such a fancy hotel to let staff pay for 20 € cream and make the customer feel bad for such an experience. I am in love with the place and the experience but such a small thing made me fee soo bad . And made me feel take for granted .. as a customer who is staying in expecting good experience..

location is 15/10 and if you love swimming it’s perfect and well worth the money but don’t expect much else, service

location! the sea and the views

the staff wasn’t great to say the least, they speak English poorly, that caused a lot of confusion and misunderstanding.. the service at the beach and pool area is bad, they leave leftover towels and drinks for a long time and you have to chase the waiters to get drinks and food. the food at the buffet is not even a 3 star level, it’s cold and everything tastes like it’s a leftover from yesterday. ( however if you order from the menu then it’s great )
