Ok for what it is ok for 1 night stay

Was close to near where we needed to be

No air con as was broken so had fans but was not enough whole building was way to hot and couldn’t have window open due to being nowhere it was located. Only one set of towels for 2 people which really needs to be 2 sets no bath mates for in shower or for floor.

Needs improving

Good location.

Bin hadn't been emptied in the room. TV didn't work. Was moved to another room which had plastic wrapper on the floor. Plus, fluff over the carpet. Loose tiles on toilet floor. There is only one towel left in the room. You have to request another, even though 2 people are checked in.

Pleasant.

We always stay here when we visit our son. It is inexpensive, clean and comfortable. It is easy to get to and there are eating places next door.

It could do with some updating.

Worst hotel, not clean and not comfortable.

Location only

My room was 222. The carpet was torn inside room. They gave me a over mattress which was bigger than the bed itself. Fan they provided would cool the room but when you turn it off the room is hot, I cannot go out of the bed every time I’m cold or hot. Would not book here ever again.

Visiting model air show at shuttleworth.

Plenty of room for mobility scooter. Grab rails as well.

The bed was comfy but too high for me, even husband who is 5 ft 10.

Service station hotel, all the basics.

Hotel has all the basics you need, plenty of places you need as services station.

Couldn’t open my window, did mention this to reception on my first day who said they would get maintenance to take a look. I was here 4 nights and no one sorted it. More towels should be provided.

Big disappointment

The cupboard only had one door. As I moved it expecting the other one to be behind man’s show and a suit fell on my head. The toile flush did not work. The carpet has holes and the curtain had lost some hooks.

Please read above. What we did like was the staff- very polite.

Friendly staff, room needed a good clean.

The room was not very clean. A stain on the chair and splashes of tea stains left on the wall.

Cheap and relatively cheerful. Take your own pillows

Was able to check in a little early and had ground floor room

Pillows were like rocks!! Facilities were basic with only two towels, no bath mat and wardrobe had the doors removed. Loo paper so thin you needed a lot more so not really economical is it. However room was clean enough if rather shabby with marks on the wall.

A good cost effective short stay accommodation

Location, availability, clean, good size shower with plenty of hotwater, shower gel and towels. Tea and coffee making facilities . Good a/ c or heating. Wifi and tv, decent sized desk.Helpful and welcoming staff. Parking. Food court next door

Mattress was very " mobile" and any movement by 1 person resulted in the other being being bounced about. Standard double, would benefit from Queen/ King sized bed.

My recent stay in Baldock UK

Yvette the housekeeping staff were really accommodating and warm welcoming friendly extremely helpful in ensuring my stag was as comfortable as possible. Many thanks Yvette for all your support and services over the year's I've known you since staying at the days Inn Hotel.

Unfortunately for the 3rd time round again as a Wyndham member I am being charged extra 10 pounds for every hour for a slightly earlier check-in which was never there before. As a Wyndham member you should be entitled to free earlier check-in and checkout for no extra charges what so ever this is stated in your membership rewards scheme obviously subject to availability which it normally is. Unfortunately I have taken the necessary approach to use another hotel in the area instead and sadly won't be returning to the Day's Inn Hotel again. I wish all the staff I have known the best for a happy bright prosperous future.

Budget hotel for a premium price

dog friendly and sorted out a few problems we had at booking.

Strong smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom and toilet was nightmare to flush.

One man rewand my stay after being so rude

Cleaners and two receptionists was lovely but the old man on reception was verry rude

Perfect location, clean and comfortable. Excellent front desk staff.

Did not have breakfast but location was perfect for the occasion.

Prefer wash basin to be in with shower rather than the bedroom. Had to search for kettle.

the location is good

we arrived to a heatwave and no air conditioning and refused a fan. the room was so hot i had to sit outdoors. i had to bully a fan from reception. very uncomfortable night charged for dogs and it was too high
