Worth a visit. Nice room and friendly staff.

Restaurant was great. Food sooooo good. Room was comfortable. Staff lovely. I think this would be great for corporate functions. Brilliant location.

Would have liked a bit more tourist information as we came from Australia. Maybe some staff suggestions. Loved this place though.

The staff were lovely But they had lost our booking for 4 rooms so took a while to get them Then placed on the top floor in family rooms We enquired about breakfast and was told it was in with the price the first night but not the next two

Not enough information re breakfast times pool opening times when the rear door was lock when the bar shut etc

VERY disapointing-seriously question how this hotel is 4Star. Badly needs to be power washed outside-for starters

Perfect location for Athlone town centre and surrounding areas.

Perfect location in the centre of Athlone. Reception staff were very welcoming and happy to answer any questions. My room was fabulous with a view of the River Shannon. The most comfortable bed, pillows and duvet I have ever slept in. We had dinner in the bar/bistro and the food was really good. I would definitely stay here again. Lovely hotel, great attention to detail.

100% stay

The staff at front desk (Louise) was very good help. Couldn’t have asked for better service. In general staff at the front desk and bar were excellent, we will definitely be back soon.

Quality accomodation

Location is excellent, beds and the room were spotless and the attention to detail was great. Food was really nice in the restaurant and it's just a nice place to stay. I was there for a conference the following morning after my stay so it was like being home from home. WiFi was great and the staff are really friendly. I've stayed here before so when I knew I was going to be in Athlone for work I immediately booked the Radisson.

Parking was a challenge but not the fault of the hotel. Some headers hanging around outside the front but again not the fault of the hotel.

Friendly helpy staff, great location, gorgeous food, definitely recommend.

Brilliant location, excellent amenities available, looks beautiful with the Christmas decorations up, staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing.

I literally can’t think of anything, everything was perfect. We needed an early check-in and they helped us in every way they could.

Very nice.

Pool, comfy beds, plug sockets at the bed side, friendly check in and effort put into trying to get our room ready before check in.

Housekeeping knocking on and trying to open our door an hour before check out time and then asking us in the corridor at check out time, why our door wouldn’t open?? We checked in early, paid and went for a swim. When collecting our keys later we were asked to register and pay again. I had to show proof of payment. Poor handover from earlier shift and very slow procedure.

The room itself was quiet grubby,the paintwork and carpet were very stained,but most annoying the bed in that room was very uncomfortable the mattress had springs poking into us

Booked twin room with river view in advance but was moved on arrival to room at back of hotel with view of car park. Disappointing with no reduction in room rate for inconvenience. Didn't spoil stay too much and handled well by staff.
