Was convenient to where we needed to be.
Offered buffet breakfast in price of room
One of the few places we could get 2 double beds in a room
Beds were comfortable
Shower was fantastic
I didn’t like that for dinner you had To go out of the hotel and around into the club. It was raining and made it quite difficult. Especially when at breakfast it’s all an internal trip
The lack of communication between booking. Com and the hotel.
I had made my booking, put all my details in , rooms paid for. For our stay, When half of our party arrived for the first night, they were going to be turned away because the room wasn’t booked in their name. Started the whole stay off wrong.
Lessons learned , 1. Do not use booking.com to make reservation
2. Book with hotel direct
3. Book rooms with all guest names
4. Must have a credit card on check in, even if room is paid in advance
5. Staff are doing there best, but expect delays for check in and check out

The whole booking experience, won’t use booking.com to book rooms anymore.
Cheaper to book direct with hotel

Comfortable rooms right next to the Penrith Leagues Club, which had entertainment of all sorts for all ages. Lots of places to eat, lots to do, could happily spend a long weekend well entertained there. If you didn't feel like going out several of the restaurants in the Penrith Club could be delivered to your room via room service.
Not much, everything was great. There was no secure undercover parking, had to park in a public car park in the open, but seemed safe enough.

Couldn’t work out how to turn the air con on as it was cold
4.0
It was a very nice clean room , with a nice bathroom and toiletries , it had a nice outlook and very comfortable.
There were no opening windows or balconies so it felt a bit stuffy overnight

Everything was great service was excellent

- Bed/Pillows were comfortable.
- Block out curtains were appreciated.
- We chose the mercure, as it is attached to panthers & have stayed previously so we could just go straight from our room into the club. That is not the case anymore & you have to be a member of panthers to access the club from the hotel.
We didn't have a problem becoming members, which we would of done....IF WE HAD BEEN TOLD THIS BY MERCURE HOTEL STAFF?!
But we weren’t advised and were stuck not being able to access the club from the hotel...wondering what the hell we were doing wrong?!
- What hotel doesn't have a mini bar?!
- For that price point $250/night, we would hope for at least some water in the fridge?!
