Incredible location, super romantic and surrounded by greenery, from the swimming pool you can see the sea and then this castle where you stay I must admit that leaves you breathless when you arrive.
Nothing.

Very friendly staff, great location and ideal restaurant and breakfast. Swimming pool area was great to hang out in the evening for a last cup before going to bed.
Amenities (slippers, laundry bag) could be added

Great people
Lovely food fair price

the service was the bed I have ever had, particularly Matteo and the female Andrea. the restaurant is exceptional and quite a value. The whole property is beautiful with bird song and the smells of honeysuckle and roses.
The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable.
4.3
A small boutique style hotel in a restored castellated building occupying an elevated site with commanding views of Fano and the sea. very relaxed and friendly with charming staff.
Nothing is too much trouble and lots of fabulous local knowledge on wine, culture including nearby towns like Urbino.
only slight gripe, the mattresses could be a little better
doesn’t stop us returning year after year, the staff are like old friends
4.3

Breakfast was lovely, the size of the room and confortable bed. Also the surrrounding park and infinity pool, although very small.
The shower was very dated and needed to be replaced.
Nowhere to sit and relax in the evening after dinner other than a few sunloungers near the pool, which were decidedly worse for wear. Some tables and easy chairs would have been appreciated.
4.3
Buffet breakfast with lovely pastries and good coffee.
Nothing to dislike

The hotel is in a beautiful castle, situated on a hill overlooking the sea. Relaxing by the beautiful swimming pool with a view was amazing. Tasty breakfasts. Helpful staff.
Poorly working air conditioning.

Staff greeted us warmly. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Hotel looks very grand and the pool area is lovely. Food was lovely, but menu choices limited. The ambience of the hotel and breakfast.
We managed to book the last available room, as this hotel is very popular. Unfortunately, the room was much smaller than I expected. There is air conditioning in the room, but in 30 degree heat it isn't very effective and doesn't cool the room, regardless of the room being very small. There is very little room around the foot of the bed, which is right outside the en-suite bathroom door and one side of the bed is very close to the window. We didn't find much to do in the local area, but apparently Fano beach is quite close by.

The hotel / Castle is beautiful, surrounded by pretty gardens. The two male staff members we saw, we're so lovely to us.
We stayed in a suite and the four poster bed was squeaky. It squeaked on every time you move in the bed. The balcony was great but the garden area around it, smelt of sewage at night, making it unusable. Such a shame. If these issues were fixed, it would be amazing fairytale castle experience.

Everything was excellent. Personnel was very kind and hospitable. Location is ideal for people enjoying nature and birds singing. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Swimming pool area comfortable.
4.3

The Staff was amazing, The room was perfect and comfortable, Wi-Fi was fast and the food was made fresh and incredible.

A very charming accommodation, a castle experience indeed. Very quiet and comfortable room, exquisite dinner and remarkable service with good wine suggestions and typical products. The breakfast was good, we could choose what we wanted to eat upfront and it was served at the table. Plenty of parking spots outside. Stunning views as the structure is uphill. We traveled with our dog and she was welcomed everywhere, restaurant and breakfast included. The hotel is close to the A14 highway and we chose it as a stopover in our journey.
Make sure to follow the directions using Google Maps. We were relying on our Audi MMI navigator and it could not find the route right away.
4.3
A very dog friendly hotel, great grounds to be able to walk the dog. The staff were very thoughtful to our needs when travelling with a pet. Dinner was great with some awesome recommendations for local produce and wines. Breakfast was a really good spread. The two guys from dinner and the breakfast were great, very professional but also the right side of friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Very friendly and welcoming team. Quiet location and attractive building. Wonderful food. Tasting menu in restaurant is excellent enhanced by Matteo , the expert friendly sommelier.
Breakfast was good too - best scrambled eggs we have had for a long time.
Smell of drains as usual in old buildings. Rough stone floors in courtyard rooms - understand for pets but our pet is well trained.
4.3
We enjoyed our stay.
The "double bed" was not really a double bed. They were two single beds pushed together but no co-joined which was uncomfortable for a couple. We would suggest having a device installed to connect the beds. We rent properties and have done this successfully.
4.3
The host ( Mateo) was very friendly and eager to help. Location was very good. Very beautiful pool with amazing view.
Issues of poor maintenance. Drainage of shower, water not hot enough. Room was small and bed uncomfortable.
