The pool was sweet.
THE BEDS WERE THE WORST BEDS WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. Sofa bed was HORRENDOUS & we ended up putting the thin Mattress onto the floor !! Madness !!! The main bed was hard & very uncomfortable- cheap and nasty!!
Their Coffee was horrible
They didn’t even have coffee making facilities in the room except for an old kettle and Instant coffee !!! In a 4* ???

Great location in the centre of Cannes
Pool was much smaller than in pictures, hotel room is a little bit old. Spotlights not working properly in bathroom and water leaking from showers.

Location is kind of center, not far from La Croisette and sea port
There property has No restaurants so in case of need you will have to go out on the street and fetch some food. Breakfast is very basic and too pricey

Excellent location a short walk from the beach and the shops. Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff, large and spacious bedroom and bathroom. Loved the pool and sunbathing areas and had no complaints about the breakfast.

Nice size room but expected for the price. Very central location. Nice swimming pool.
Disappointed that tea/coffee did not get replenished and we had to request this. Also shower gel run out (this should not happening when you are paying €€€ for a room and hotel of 4 stars!)

Pool was lovely, excellent housekeeping staff.
The bar was closed for more than 50% of our stay, with no notice. Some days it was open in the morning but then the ‘Bar Closed’ sign appeared during the day. Considering they forbid you to buy a bottle of water from a shop and drink it by the pool, it made our stay incredibly difficult. If we wanted a drink we had to ask Reception, who were not happy to provide it, but with no bar staff, they felt forced to (and we were made very aware of it). When I asked, they mentioned the bar man was sick, but as an essential front-of-house service, cover should exist! Very unacceptable for a four star hotel not to provide this service, and seemingly not even care about it. I emailed the hotel two days before departure and received NO response. Could not be more disappointed. So despite the excellent efforts of some staff, management clearly aren’t interested enough in their customers.

The location and style of the hotel.
Overbearing and seriously obtuse security staff who follow you around all of the place - it feels more like a prison than a hotel to relax in.
There's no on-site catering in the hotel any more - so breakfast is extremely limited to a French/ "continental" breakfast. Hence there's no lunch or evening dinners - not even snacks like sandwiches or fries. Nothing.... They have a lovely bar area right next to the pool - but they've done nothing to integrate these areas so there's much that's lively about this place during the afternoon and evening. It's actually dead.
We have stayed at this hotel every year for 10 years and the new management have destroyed the charm of this place. The poor staff are told to follow orders - and there's clearly a sense of fear if the staff try to employ some consideration outside the "rules". The smoke alarm went off 3 times - late at night circa 1am - which disturbed the sleep of the residents and when we explained that our sleep had been disrupted they made not a single concession or gesture of goodwill. I also have concerns that the fire alarm could not be heard if you closed one of the inner doors - which makes me dread what would happen if this were to be a real fire....
This place is expensive and overpriced for what it actually gives you - not withstanding the central location, and the elegant and modern design. Think twice - and avoid if you can.

The location was great and a lovely small hotel.
Dead wasps on floor and full dirty ashtray outside the room window

The location is good
The building is old and squeaky, the bathroom distribution is really weird, which makes it very uncomfortable and they don’t even give you a little bottle of complementary water

Building completely renewed very comfortable
Located in the center of the city, in the shopping street, near to the sea and to the most attractions
