L'emplacement, le calme, l'agencement, la gentillesse du personnel d'accueil.
Aucun bruit de l'extérieur mais des cloisons un peu fine mais cela ne nous a pas trop dérangé.

The staff was very accommodative. I arrived early, before the check in time. But I was allowed into the room.

Very good place to stay in Marseille. Not too far from the city center, takes about 15-20 minutes by bus or metro. Quiet for sleeping. Conditioner was working good.
Just notice, there’s a pause since 12:00 till 14:00 when reception doesn’t work at all. It is OK, but there wasn’t information about this on Booking.com

Nothing at all.
The staff did not speak a single word of English which made communication in regards to some issues very difficult. When I first arrived they said that I did not have a booking. I showed them the confirmation. Then every single night, my room card stopped working because I did not have an active booking, so I was not able to enter my room.
Because I arrived late, all the staff had left so I had to track down the hotel security for about 20 min every night. Super annoying.
Also on Sunday and Monday, they didn't serve breakfast for some reason.
The photos do not really reflect the rooms, they are a lot more dated and basic. It is the same as the other Citadines hotel nearby.

good for marseille chanot convention centre
hard to meet employees in the evening
few chance to get the room cleaning service
unkind employees
photos from the booking websites were different from the reality

The location is amazing: very close to the Velodrome and Marseille Chanot, a shopping centre, and a wide street with restaurants and nearby tram subway access. My room was very clean, the air conditioning worked well, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The staff were accomodating and patient, even with my lack of French.
The only things I didn't like were very superficial: the decor in the room was sparse (many white walls), and there was no available gym. Of course, this is a location that offers a great deal (and indeed, no gym is advertised), so this is not an issue.

They kindly let us stay 2hours after the checkout time as our flight was delayed :)

I was attracted by the low cost. I wasnt aware there were very few facilities there, but I knew it wasnt a hotel. I didnt know quite what to expect so wished now I had taken tea bags and milk (at least)
The snack machine didnt work

Near the Metro, beds comfortable, Air Con & Wifi Very good. Receptionist very helpful.
It says you have “satellite” TV which we thought would have some English channels but it was ALL French channels on the TV. Safe couldn’t close but no technician was available for a few days , but they did offer us to change room if we wanted to.
