Location excellent in centre of village. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food on a night very good. Breakfast excellent good choices. Larger in bar excellent and in proper glasses.
Parking a bit of a problem at certain times of day, but that's a Costswold village for you.

The room was very clean ,small but fine . The shower had good pressure and was hot The hotel is a great location .
The room smelled of damp quite strongly .The veggie option breakfast was disappointing compared to meat option if somebody had asked how it was I would have discreetly said as it was not great

Clean - characterful - cosy

Has unique character and interior decor. Friendly staff. Good location for Tetbury or even for further afield places such as Bath.
Noisy making it difficult to get sleep. Restaurant was good with excellent service but food could be better. For example a very promising slice of Belly Pork was somewhat over-cooked.

Everything but the bed which was a bit too soft!!!
See above!!

Habitación muy bonita, aunque un poco pequeña para 4 personas. El desayuno y la cena muy rico, y el personal muy amable.
La habitación era muy pequeña para 4 personas.

Great location & friendly staff.
A bit dodgy.

Ok if you wanted a cooked breakfast but no fresh fruit option available or more healthy options
The decor was very tired and it felt generally run down

Location of the hotel was good, it was clean very pretty and decorated lovely. Female Receptionist on our arrival was very welcoming and helpful 😀
Breakfast not so good, food was reheated and dry. Female Staff in the breakfast room was quiet surly 😠

Breakfast was very good & staff friendly
Unfortunately it’s not having a car park, you have to keep finding somewhere to park. Also a problem when loading & unloading.

The staf was the worst I ever seen they was never at the reception I had to go around the building to find them and them attitude was rude

The day team when we arrived were quite stressed but settled down with our friendly easy go approach and eventually warmed up to us and very very nice and welcoming to our Australian friends.
At the dinner the waitress didn't know the menu. I asked whether the seafood tagliatini was in a white wine (in other words NOT tomato based sauce as I find the tomato overpowers the delicate flavours of the seafood) sauce. She said it was - it was NOT! I was disappointed and didn't make a fuss as 1. I didn't want to spoil the evening for all of us as we haven't seen our friends since Covid and didn't want to eat alone as the rest of our party would've finished their dinner by the time a replacement meal arrived. When I raised the issue after dinner the waitress "backpaddled" that it was a tomato based sauce made with white wine. Sorry but it's obvious she didn't know the menu. The bed was soft. Our room No: 5 faced the courtyard. I expected noise to go on until midnight when the bar closed. The noise went on until about 1am. It appears that nobody (I mean in the team) made any effort to make the late-stayers to go inside as there were guest staying in the hotel. If it weren't for my sleeping spouse (who was tired & had a few drinks) next to me I would have gone downstairs for fear I would disturb him. I was not happy. The percolated coffee at breakfast was very disappointing, it was not coffee - it was coffee flavoured water.

No parking, but not really negative as a car park is very close

Lovely room and breakfast

Some staff more helpful than others e.g. I was clearly struggling to keep the front door open whilst pulling my suitcase but the receptionist didn’t jump up to help with the door.
4.1
The location was great, rooms were clean and beds very comfy
It could have been better to have a car park however this can't be expected with such a central location. We stayed on the top floor and the rooms were boiling during the day, a fan may have been nice.
4.1
Central location, lovely interior in room 18 and beautiful bathroom. lovely breakfast too. The staff at breakfast were really kind, much appreciated.
Didn’t realise check in closed at 11pm but l was delayed on my travels and arrived at 3.30am. The manager who let me in the front door did not say hi or introduce herself, when l asked her name she said ‘why, l’m the manager’, I think it was quite rude and unprofessional.

Good value hotel, with welcoming pub downstairs. Great location (we parked right outside on the high street)... Rooms were nicely decorated, and well equipped

the bed felt like you had your legs in the Iain, the feet were higher than the head - not comfortable.
