Excellent location on our route from Calais to the Alpes. Beautiful hotel with pretty gardens. Room was very comfortable. Restaurant very good with home cooked food.
Nothing to dislike. Lots of stairs so wouldn’t be suitable for older people.

Very interesting building and location. Nice restaurant. Great nature and small river. Good food and breakfast.

Relaxing location near a river. Fine apartments, friendly staff.

We stopped on our way from Italy back to Le Havre, it was a treat to have a night here in this nice quiet location. The pool was tranquil. The staff were helpful and friendly. The chef cooked an outstanding dinner. The breakfast was beautifully presented, with a wide selection of tempting items. The garden was beautiful. I wished we could have stayed longer.
The layout of the house and reception entrance was confusing. We parked at the end of a driveway which seemed to lead to the reception but as it was on different levels we got a bit lost. More could be done to show the way and the driveway needs patching as it was rutted. I realise it was a modern conversion of an old building and it has problems but I’m just saying what I didn’t like. Clear signage would help. But we loved the place.

Very nice location, wonderful garden, walk distance to the closest village
The dinner was pretty bad. The risotto was like a creamy soup and the beef Wellington rather poor quality meat.

An excellent dinner in a picturesque location
The only parking was on the road up a steep slope from the hotel, my wife who has limited mobility found it difficult to negotiate
The room was a a little sparse for a hotel charging these rates

On a busy road. parking not easy

Beautiful location with very friendly staff. Nice swimming pools and lots to see in the area. Breakfast is good and diner is excellent, the hotel has a young and brilliant chef. The view from the restaurant is very nice and together with the food it is a perfect match.
Nothing.

Everythingvwas lovely, particularly the proprietress.

Beautiful part of France and the grounds maintained to a high standard.
Unfortunately too many steps but that didn’t detract from the overall quality.
5.0
beautiful surroundings and building.
the quality and standard of the food at dinner was poor and overpriced. The menu was over ambitious for skill and capability of the chef.

We were provided with a nice large room (an upgrade) which was warm, had a lovely view and a very comfortable king size bed.
There is a small indoor pool which was very warm and good for relaxing after a long drive ( I had it to my self).
Parking was secure.
Apart from the waitress for the evening meal (who was delightful), the staff were not particularly welcoming and not at all engaging.
Breakfast was very basic (self service) and the coffee barely warm.
Whilst we enjoyed the dinner service, the menu was very simple and the food uninspiring, and quite expensive. The boiled potato served with the Mont D’Or “fondu”, was not cooked (a pretty basic error).

Very comfortable well appointed charming boutique hotel in lovely surroundings.

Location perfect just on boundary of town great setting, views and the restaurant menu and meals were outstanding

Excellent hotel which the owners are continually upgrading. Very warm welcome, excellent accommodation and very good food. Dinner by a young chef was attractive and made good use of local produce prepared on site. The sound of water in the millstream below is gently soothing
Nothing to dislike. Care needs to be taken with parking.

Very nice place. Good restaurant. Outdoor and indoor swimming pools, gardens all very nice.
Lots of stairs, for elderly people not easy!

This is a charming hotel with a remarkable kitchen. You would not expect that the food is this good. Although it's a small menu (4 starters, 4 main dish) we were offered something of the menu. It has a great garden with a swimming pool. The rooms are cosy and big. We were with 2 adults and a kid and had a separate room for the kid. In the surroundings their is enough to offer. The young owners are enthusiastic and do everything to make your stay as nice as possible.
Nothing.

A delightful stopover with charming staff and beautifully cooked local produce. Will definitely return.

Beautiful landscape even though the weather was wet and cold. My kids loved the waterfall. Our family room was very comfortable and modern
There was no hot water. This is a basic requirement of a hotel yet the staff didn’t seem to care or apologise. We didn’t actually mind as we were only there for a couple of nights but we we’re flabbergasted that the response was so indifferent! The breakfast could have been better as well (no hot options.. seems to be a theme!)

It is rare that I give 10/10 but we were so delighted with this amazing little hotel in a beautiful location.
We went off season and there was no indication that anything or anyone had reached the end of the season. The rooms were incredibly clean, cosy and so comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Our Vizsla was welcomed with open arms and was even able to sit with us in the restaurant whilst we ate! The food and local beer and wine was delicious. Thank you to everyone who looked after us. We will be going again.
Honestly, the only thing we can think of is the turn into and out of the driveway which is not friendly for low-suspension cars! But other than that, I can’t think of anything we didn’t like...
