Central location, within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Free parking on the back. The shared kitchen downstairs was very large, with plenty of fridges. The private bathroom was quite clean and comfortable, as was the room.
There was quite a bit of noise from the street right outside the window. Bed linens were included, but you have to make and unmake the bed yourself. The room was pretty basic. The price we paid was on a hotel level, but what we got was much more of a basic hostel experience.

DanHostel Svendborg is a hostel within walking distance of the centre of Svendborg. The hostel has good parking facilities, a well tended garden at the rear of the building where guests can sit and relax. The hostel also has a communal kitchen attached to the garden area where guests can prepare their own food if they wish. The guest rooms, with shower and toilet facilities, are quite small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is an optional extra which we found to be excellent. All the staff we talked to were friendly and very helpful when it came to providing information about things to see in Svendborg. A++++
Considering the price and the facilities provided I find it very hard to think of anything that was lacking.

Very good breakfast with fresh vegetables, mooring baked bread, the location in the city is very good. Either don't forget the price, it is really good rates, and all rooms and surroundings are very clean.

Could be better to have communication with keys location if it is night check in. There are two doors we can not find the key from one door. As a first time comer it is not easy to find it. The a email could be helpful.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding – home made jam and Ginger shot made it extra special.
The carpet in my room was very standard. For the money, I think that taking care of my sheets is much to ask.

Next to the library and close to shopping, restaurants etc.
We had to do some (minor) cleaning in the common kitchen which was otherwise fine.

Recommanded place! Good location near city centre. The staff is so nice! Great service! They solved a major problem for us.
Breakfast is perfect. Should inspire some "normal" hotels.
Nothing. Everything is ok!!

The breakfast bar! Especially the ginger shots!
A bit noisy on the street side. Bring ear plugs, or buy at the front desk.
1.5 / 5.0
The parking.
The reception closed at 16:00 instead of 18:00 as was mentioned in booking com. I was lucky that I had called them and the left the key in a box. But what I did not like at all was the breakfast. I dining room was full with people and they were sitting all together with no masks as there is no covid in Denmark. But a lady from the staff was rood to me and told me I need to leave the room because I am a foreigner!
