Nothing! Anything that was at an acceptable level was wiped out by the horrific rude reception staff, closed and non existent facilities and smoke filled rooms!
My children had to sleep for two nights in a cigarette smoke filled room! The hotel refused to move them or prevent it from happening again! Every night the corridors were stinking of smoke!
The fitness suite was a sham! Just a room with old broken machines none of them working! No weights as apparently they are not allowed in there gym! The hotel has no interest nor intention of fixing them!
The spa facility was all closed so no solarium or sauna! The outdoor pool was dark green and filthy with scum around the edges! They blamed on the volcanic water but managed to clean it for the last 3 days to normal colour so clearly had not been cleaned before! The pool attendant was a rude bully who hated kids playing and having fun even if they were the only ones in the pool! My kids were told not to move or play with their float if anyone else was in the big pool! They had to stand like robots or they would get dirty looks and a telling off! The pool area is noisy with traffic noise from the main road! Not relaxing in the slightest! Don’t pay extra for a pool view room as you would need binoculars to see it from those rooms! This is not a child friendly hotel! They have no interest in kids and charge €25 a night for a cot!
The reception staff are rude and unprofessional! They do not help or answer any questions! They avoid you at all cost if they know you are waiting on a reply from them!
They also have plans to change this to an all inclusive hotel which would be horrific like a prison! No atmosphere and one hour of entertainment a week! I sanity was leaving to go on day trips or out to an actual good restaurant for food! You will get into trouble for bringing in food to eat in garden area even though they only offer food for a limited time at lunch, so if you are not hungry then… tuff! The prices of food and drink were ridiculously expensive £80 for lunch for our family! We only made that mistake once!
This hotel would not pass health and safety levels in Britain!

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location and lovely pool area.
Some parts were outdated, could use an upgrade. Could hear a dog barking/ people talking through the shower drain from the room below.

Exceeded my expectations, excellent value for money.
The Hotel is very clean and centrally located. I didn’t try the SPA but the swimming pool was a treat. Despite the very central location the hotel is well protected from the traffic and you forget that you’re right in the centre of town. Staff was always very helpful.

Really nice surroundings with tropical feeling.
Spa is dirty and full of mold! Infrastructure very dated!

Breakfast could have been more varied ie despite covid restrictions more effort could go into daily changes . Very pleasant barman and nice pool surrounded by vegetation. Bright clean room. Good location
As above .also disappointed at only morning spa treatments ie massage on offer nothing in afternoon which is preferable for a massage !
