Great value for a nice stay in magnificent setting.

As owners of timeshare unit at Playa Grande, we booked Solmar Resort as an add-on for 4 days to our week beginning March 23. Generally met our expectations and we were very happy with our stay.

Food quality and flavor at Italian Restaurant for dinner only asi'-asi'.

No hice uso de los restaurantes por el costo, dado que no encontré un precio que incluyera alimentos, éstos eran con un costo adicional, por lo que decidí llevar mis propios alimentos, dado que se contaba con cocineta en la suite que reserve

el costo de los alimentos era alrededor de 1600 pesos mexicanos aproximadamente por día por persona y dado que no observé una gran variedad de opciones en los sitios que proporcionaban el mismo, pues no lo probé

the morning waiters for breakfast were really nice

unfriendly staff , very poor quality rooms , outdated , pool was too small and not very clean , bad quality of fruits for breakfast , had to leave one night early and they refused to refund

Great Location, Facility was nice, great price, pretty good service, rooms were clean.

I can't say I disliked anything. The only small issues I had, and these are my preferences were: the mattress on the bed was hard, the pull-out sofa was very uncomfortable for my kids, the A/C did not cool as well (it was not hot but not as cool as I prefer), and the mini fridge did not work. Would this keep me from staying here again NOT AT ALL. (I did not even report the issues to the front office).

The resort was quiet and conveniently located close to downtown Cabo - within walking distance.

The swimming pool and hot tub were dirty. Lot's of debris floating in the water, although that may have been due to the windy weather. The firepits on the patio were not lit on any of the 4 nights we stayed at the resort.

Pretty and comfortable resort and rooms but food way too expensive and not very good.

Lovely view of the ocean. Comfortable beds. Well- maintained property.

The food and drinks were mediocre and ridiculously expensive. Some of the dishes in our kitchenette were dirty. The toaster didn’t work and neither did one element on the 2-burner stove but it gave me an electrical shock.

location is amazing! we saw many whales right from the beach!

It was SO noisy. The music at the pool starts blaring at 6.30am and having a room near the pool it woke us up. Then people bring their own speakers and blare those so you have competing music sources. it sad when the ocean lapping is right there and all you can hear is terrible 80s pop. The staff are harried dealing with so many heavy drinking resort guests and it’s all expensive and charged in USD. You cannot swim at the beach in front of the resort which they don’t tell you until you get there, so kind of defeats the purpose of paying for a beach front resort if you cannot go in the ocean.

Beautiful hotel, nice to have free parking, rooms nice and big, comfie beds, pool and jacuzzi nice as well.

I enjoyed the amenities; private. Each, large spacious rooms, restaraunt, close proximity to city center - it was perfect for me.

There's nothing I didn't like. Well, the jacuzzi in my room wouldn't hold water so maybe that was the only issue I had the entire trip.

they put us in basically a maintenance shed that was made into a room with no balcony for two nights and upon further review i booked a balcony and made them give us the better room.
