Our imaginary Victorian terrace home filled with lavish comforts and surprises. We keep coming back!

Everytime we stay at Fairbank for Easter, we look forward to the generous hamper left in the kitchen for us. We like to think that we are the owners, even if it is only for three nights. Supreme comfort and homeliness. Perfect for couples who don't sleep together, families and friends. Our favourite room is the lounge room with gas open fire place. You will never get cold here, as there is also central heating. There are two spacious bedrooms with their own ensuites and one double bedroom. Our dog and cat loved the gardens impeccably manicured and in fall bloom. The front terrace is perfect to sit and watch the world go by with a glass of the complimentary red wine. Jamie the host gives the best personalised service. He is so easy to contact and puts his heart into making sure everything is perfect for his guests.

Being Baby Boomers we did take some time to work the TV and streaming service. Is there an easier way? Automatic front gates would make driving in and out easier.

Highly recommended.

Our Host Jamie suggested we should not bring much up in the way of foodstuff as there was a generous hamper of local produce provided. He was not wrong. Such a generously loaded fridge of quality local cheeses, bacon, eggs, bread, butter, tomatoes, strawberries, wine and biscuits etc... The house was so spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Beds were super comfy. Jamie's communication throughout our stay was very professional.

All in all we were very happy and would gladly stay with them again.

The hamper was exceptional.

More sockets in the bedroom would be nice. I use a Cpap machine and had to unplug the bedside lamp in order to hook it up. I'd also suggest putting in some sockets that have built-in USB ports.

A great place to regenerate the soul in a beautiful environment.

A beautiful, well maintained house with wonderfully manicured garden. The home was walking distance to the main street, cafes, shops and local attractions. The host communication was excellent and he had provided some local produce for our arrival. The facilities in the home were excellent, nespresso coffee machine (and lots of pods), juicer, barbecue, just to name a few. The weather was excellent and we were able to enjoy relaxing on the front verandah and the outdoor covered pergola at the side of the home.

Perfect get away full of relaxation, local history, food and wine.

This house and the garden were stunning. It was presently beautifully and respectfully showed off its heritage. We were greeted with a hamper of local foods and drinks, it was way beyond what we were expecting. Perfect location, friendly locals and so much to see and do in the area. We will definitely be returning, we can’t recommend highly enough.

Great place to relax and unwind

The accommodation was beautifully presented, from the moment we walked in to music playing and heating on. Fresh cut flowers, open fire , spa bath and comfy beds. Some lovely treats as well as breakfast provisions were a bonus and delicious. Also great that it was dog friendly. Shirt walk into town and good cafes and coffee.

Feel like a millionaire during your holiday at such an exceptional accommodation.

WE were not expecting such a generous Easter hamper waiting for us, organized by Jamie. Made our stay even more enjoyable. We stayed at Fairbank prior to the extensive renovations and now the extra bathroom and outdoor entertainment area has added to the comfort. It felt great living like a millionaire for four days!

Fantastic base for touring but so well stocked and peaceful you don’t need to leave home.

Generous amount of provisions in fact we went looking for all the products in the towns we loved them. Felt like we were Lord and Lady of the Manor. Enjoyed the gentle toot of the train at the station and laughed at the possum thumping across the roof. Jamie was extremely helpful and amusing so felt very at home.

Needed some hooks to hang towels in bathroom And perhaps squeegee as water made its way towards the opening in shower Perhaps one of wardrobes for hanging clothes
