Parfait pour votre passage à Padang !

L’établissement est idéalement situé. À proximité du port si vous avez besoin d’acheter vos tickets pour les îles Mentawai. (10 min à pied) L’espace rooftop est très sympa pour chiller (mini piscine, pouf, fléchette et billard). Il y a un petit coin cuisine si besoin sinon vous pouvez faire un Grab. L’accueil et le personnel est exceptionnel ! Présent pour vous aider si besoin ! Un bonheur !

Amazing hostel in Padang

I loved to stay here, the staff is amazing, the bed are so confortable, the communal area is amazing. The place is located also near the ferry harbor to mentawai, so if you have to take it is really near. By foot you also reach a lot of good restaurants and bars. I left there all my valuable and belongins when I did my trip to mentawai and they took care of them till I came back.

Maybe only one shower for all the rooms is not too much…i never had to wait because the hostel was not full but i can imagine it can be tricky when it is fully booked ;-)

Best Hostel in Padang?

Staff so helpful and some are ecellent English speakers. Location by the river. Dorm beds very large/private. Quiet dorms/corridors. Terrace great with superb views. Tea/coffee/cold water, aircon throughout. Good restaurants/shops nearby.

The private I initially booked had a large number of airbricks in the wall and you could hear people very clearly outside - every word like they were in the room with you! I had to reject it and was given a dorm to myself (for one night). The hostel needs a second bathroom really.

Amazing staff, great hostel!

Really awesome place. Really close to the ferry terminal, very clean, communal area is great, beds are massive, staff are super friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay there, hope to be back sometime.

Good for mentawaifastboat

A good hostel, perfect for a night waiting the mentawai fast ferry, (only 800mtr away) Git (J) Was very kind and helpful for anything from food suggestions to a quick lift to an atm. The roof lounge Is nice with a pool table and a small pool too. The room was ok, clean enough. A/c. The shared bathroom was ok clean enough with a hot shower. A lot of restaurants/cafè/shops by feet in the nearby.

Near a loud Road. ((Attention: consider a possible cancellation of the Mentawai fast boat !!!))

Gee, one of the owners, is amazing! He was very open and friendly and made me feel at home. The bed is comfortable and upstairs on the rooftop is a nice place to chill and hangout. For a lone girl-traveller it was great! Thank you so much!

Everything and everyone is chill.

Nice friendly vibe and the staff are very helpful. great aircon and clean and comfortable beds. Upstairs is a fun environment to chill too.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. If you are in Padang you have to stay here!

The staff here are amazing. They will do everything to help you and are around to hang out with and grab some food with. The common area is homey with coffee and tea available. Rooms are clean and you get given a soft towel to use. Lots of people hanging out every evening with beers available in the fridge. Also a good location in the city for restaurants and the Mentawai ferry.

just an awesome time over there!

the hostel was awesome! cozy beds, AC, everything very clean, nice terasse to chill, water coffee and tea for free and such friendly super helpfull people! we enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed longer than planned. would come back as soon as possible and would recommend to everybody! location also very nice and close to harbour

The best place to stay in Padang!

We loved our stay at Kokos! Gee and Marcos were the best, they organized everything for us! They picked us up from the airport, took us to a great restaurant for dinner, and even went around the town to help us find sunscreen. We are so grateful! Thank you so much.

Best Place in Padang!

Can’t recommend this place highly enough! The location is excellent, particularly in relation to the Port, which is the gateway to the Mentawai islands. The beds are very comfortable, the air-conditioning is good and the WiFi is excellent. The social area up on the roof top is also awesome. But the best thing about this place is the owners Rindi and Marko who are very accommodating, knowledgable about the local area / Mentawai islands and their amazing offers of day / night trips and ferries.

The place itself is perfectly fine. Nice rooftop terrace. Helpful staff.

But just be sure not to take the room next to the bathroom on the first floor. If someone switched on the light in the bathroom it was like the light in your room got switched on. The window connecting the common bathroom and our room let in all the light. That wasn’t the worst part though. You could literally hear everything. You could hear people brushing teeth, or wash their hands. That sound won’t hunt you in your sleep. The sound of someone taking a huge dump, including the heavy breathing that comes with it most definitely will. Seriously, it was like we actually slept next to the toilet. We could wash away our bad ‘dreams’ the next morning with nothing but toast and ice cream syrup. Never again.
