Genuinely everything.
First off, the staff are absolutely brilliant (special shout out to Claudio) and very attentive. The hotel has incredible views down on to a lovely beach with a nice beach bar where you can enjoy the views with some drinks or food. Activities are easily arranged either at reception or via WhatsApp with the staff. The pool is very large considering the number of the rooms and therefore never feels crowded and the pool bar is great for a drink or two to break up the sun-bathing.
The restaurant was great with all the food really tasty and a large selection of options. We’d read one or two negative reviews before going which suggested the restaurant menu was limited - I’m not sure what people were expecting but we stayed for 6 dinners and never ate the same main twice… lots of options and specials which changed during the time we were there.
One of the other things we’d read was that the WiFi wasn’t great. Not sure if the hotel have improved it since those reviews but certainly we found zero issues. indeed, I streamed 2 live sports events over wifi with my phone whilst we were there.
Finally, we’d read the staff didn’t speak anything other than Portuguese. Given you are in northern Brazil this shouldn’t be a massive surprise but we were pleasantly surprised to find a number of the reception staff spoke English. For the rest, google translate (using the excellent WiFi) works well and the staff are helpful enough to work through some bad pronunciations!
overall, this delivered exactly what we wanted and more. a brilliant resort to soak up some sun and relax
Neither of these are necessarily negatives but to be aware:
- there is nothing around the resort so if you’re looking to experience a local area, don’t go here. if you want somewhere you don’t need to leave, then this is perfect
- we were surprised by how many kids were around given the price point. Not sure if it was just luck and for some, this might be a positive. the kids weren’t any bother but something to be aware of if you are looking for a kids-free resort

The service and staff are absolutely amazing, very caring and really make an effort to provide the best customer experience.
The air conditioning in the room was facing the bad, for those who are allergic that’s not a good option.

Everything was great: room, food, ammenities, pool, beach front and weather
The employees just speak portugués and it was hard to communicate what we needed. No Spanish nor English

The resort is quite close to the airport, that’s why we have been there for the third time. Very good access to the beach. A big improvement since our last visit is the menu and quality of food in the restaurant.
For the price requested the infrastructure is poor. Very simple rooms, sofas in the lobby so dirty that one avoids to sit, bicycles offered in a very poor technical shape (safety!), reservations for activities forgotten. TV in the room not working. Nothing of this is a big deal, but not acceptable for the price charged. Check carefully your final bill, you might get charged for consumption in days even before your arrival.

Very clean, wonderful pool and friendly staff. A true sample of excellent hospitality. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff.
Unfortunately the restaurant was a very poor since the food was impossible to eat, everything was undercooked. Left me with severe stomach pains and diarrhea. :-(
