Je vis sur l’île, je n’y retournerais pas. Il y’a mieux et ils pourraient faire beaucoup mieux car le potentiel est là.

- les 2 piscines - les grands jardins - la politesse de tous les membres de l’hôtel notamment des serveuses du Maloya. Toujours aimable, disponible et gentilles.

- le placement aléatoire pour la chambre. Nous étions tout au bout, à proximité du camping de l’Hermitage. Bruit des enceintes a fond toute la nuit ! - Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes, il faudrait penser à renouveler les chambres en terme de déco. - C’est très 2000 comme hôtel, malgré l’emplacement les locaux manquent de chaleur et de style. Rien que l’espace d’accueil ressemble un terminal d’aéroport ou à un hall de clinique (malgré le toit cathédrale très sympathique). - Le miner d’une piscine est tout détendu. - Le prix des chambres est trop élevé par rapport à d’autres hôtels + classe dans le coin.

L'emplacement, la chambre était correcte et propre, hôtel bien entretenu, bel espace extérieur.

Chambre au rez de chaussée, en face de la piscine. Pas top pour la tranquillité et l'intimité. De plus notre chambre était mitoyenne à une chambre en pleine rénovation, les allées et venues du personnel, malgré leur discrétion, cela a été gênant, surtout le matin. Pour le prix que j'ai déboursée, je ne trouve pas cela correcte de la part de l'établissement. Le profit oui, mais au détriment du client non.

Très bon séjour, accueil agréable.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié l’emplacement des chambres ainsi que l’espace extérieur avec les divers lieux de détente. L’espace déjeuner est très agréable et la diversité proposée est aussi très appréciable.

Je n’ai passé qu’une nuit , donc j’ai pas eut le temps de noter les inconvénients

Un vrai coup de coeur

On a tout adoré. Un accueil très sympa avec un jus de fruit, possibilité de laisser ses bagages. La chambre très spacieuse avec un grand balcon et à l'étage. Très bon petit déjeuner dans un lieu agréable avec plein de petits oiseaux. L'ensemble de l'hôtel est grand et bien aménagé, on peut profiter de la végétation, des oiseaux et lézards exotiques! Nous avons apprécié de dîner au bar le soir avec plusieurs choix de formules. Ce qui fait qu'on a vraiment adoré cet hôtel, c'est son magnifique emplacement avec accès direct à une plage superbe où nous avons pu nous promener tout le long du lagon et faire de très beaux snorkeling, grande diversité de poissons, eau chaude et cerise sur le gâteau, les baleines passaient tout près tous les jours et nous avons pu les voir sauter tous les soirs au coucher de soleil!! Nous avons eu du mal à partir et espérons y revenir pour un séjour plus long. Merci!!!

Fabulous location with easy access to beach

The location was fabulous to access the beach and also the freeway. The rooms where a decent size and very clean. Plenty of parking. The breakfast buffet had plenty to offer.

No concierge to help with luggage, code to access gate should be given when checking in, information about the carpark gate not given and made it very hard to leave early for a tour. If you don’t speak French it is very hard to navigate around this property - eg all menus are in French would be helpful to have English too.

Le lit très confortable et grand ! L'emplacement de la chambre par rapport à l'accès au portail menant directement à la plage , une chambre climatisée .

Pas assez de prises électriques au niveau des chevets de lits . J'aurais aimé une douche a la place de la baignoire par rapport à mon handicap. Le fait qu'il n'y est pas assez d'espace au restaurant " Le Maloya " pour créé un passage plus large pour les fauteuils roulants pou aller se servir .

Great property: huge garden, ping pong table, tennis court, possibility to borrow beach towels and snorkeling equipment, all rooms are in nice 2-story buildings in a kind of colonial style, 2 pools, Restaurant and Pool Bar very close, beach access directly behind the pool, many different dinner options: grand theme buffet at the restaurant, dinner menu with 2 options at the pool bar or tapas at the pool bar, live music and traditional dance show on some evenings, free welcome cocktail reception every Monday evening before dinner, plenty of offers for beauty or wellness... Good location: L'Eremitage (10min further South) and St. Gilles (15min further North) with shops, restaurant and leisure facilities (boat cruises, water sports) both in walking distance from the property

I got a room on the ground floor, since I hadn't booked a superior room. Change on the site was not possible, as all the rooms on the 1st floor seemed to be already reserved; The room was okay, with a lot of storage space, but not much daylight. The only "window" is the terrace door facing the garden, where everybody walks by. Therefore: limited privacy unless you keep the door and curtains closed all the time :-/

Superb

Big and comfortable beach resort. The location is good, right next to the lagoon, 10 minutes walk from the shops and restaurants in Ermitage and 20 minutes walk to St.Gilles. The check in experience was the best I could dream of - I arrived with a 7 am flight, and the reception offered me a glass of juice, luggage storage, full access to the hotel facilities, a beach towel and a shower! Most of the staff speaks English and is professional and helpful. A special kudos to their travel agency concierge who managed to find a last minute whale watching tour for me.

There are many details that you should know in order to get the most out of your stay (the main restaurant needs to be booked before 6, the pools close at 8 etc). It would be good to gather all information in a booklet, also available in English.

Old, but okay for a few nights.

Liked the direct beach access. Staff was very friendly. Welcoming atmosphere.

The room was good, but the bathroom was very old and would need renovation. Showerhead was broken (didn't stay in position), the walls looked bad. The problems with the pidgeons at breakfast is solved - they are using hawks. Feel very sad for thise animals. It must be terrible for their delicate hearing to sit there while kids run around, scream, and cry. But it's effective.

the breakfast room was/is infected with pigeons. as soon as you leave your table they just land into your plates for leftovers. nothing is done by the staff or management to chase them
