De omgeving is prachtig. De huisjes zijn basic maar mooi opgezet.
7.0 / 10.0

Location and beauty surrounding the room
Was still a bit warm in the room even with air conditioning
6.0 / 10.0
The breakfast was good and the evening buffet and al a carte menu were very good. The service in the dining room was excellent and Fared in particular deserves special mention.
The Chalet was in need of an upgrade. The bathroom was in a poor state and not very clean. The chairs on the balcony were rusty. The bedroom was ok but there were no chairs to sit on.

Je zit midden in het oerwoud, de aapjes lopen door het park en daarnaast mooie vlinders. Gezien de locatie enorm luxe. Warm water elektriciteit, en bereik met de telefoon.
Ik had met de loop meer fauna hopen te zien.

Good vibe and buffet/food was decent! Nice grounds and access to the National park was so easy and convenient
Rooms could be cleaner and maybe updated, things like cracked lampshades etc could easily be replaced. But it was great!

the staff are very welcoming
the worst hotel i have been to in Malaysia in terms of facilities. hygiene is zero, the rooms are so dirty and dusty. when i just arrived i was given a very very far away room at the end of the jungle (which is not what i requested) and after requesting a room change i was given a urine smelling room with a broken sink. I refused to stay in that room and at last they changed for us another room which was also not so clean but unfortunately it was late night and we could not move hotels at that time. inshort lets say this was the first and last time i visit this hotel. i would not recommend it to anyone coming to Tamam Negara. it doesn’t deserve even 1 star!!!

Amazing Location but dated and in need of a update
The taxi was booed for a 4 am pick up but it didn't arrive and ended up stranded

The location at the entrance to the park is great. The tours we took part in - Night Hike, Day Trek, and Night Boat Ride were all good. The "included" food was buffet, but good, and the option for ordering from a menu was available. The restaurant does serve beer and wine too. The facilities are nicely landscaped and well maintained. Going across the river to Kuala Tahan is easy, although not required. The "chalets" are mostly separate although some are duplex and may not be as private or as quiet. Some units have larger porches as well. It is would be good to be specific is you have preferences.
If promoting itself as an eco-resort then handing out plastic bottles of water is not consistent. Other eco-resorts provide guests with branded re-usable bottles and a couple of on-site water fill stations. The re-usable bottles continue to promote the eco-resort image even after they leave.

Location is everything
Laundry prices were incredibly high, it was washed, dried and returned within 2 hours though

great location, comfortable rooms, peaceful, lovely gardens, friendly staff and excellent activities
in one of the three rooms we booked there was a mouse. take care not to leave anything other than shoes on balcony otherwise monkeys will come and investigate! rooms in sunny positions were hot in afternoons despite air conditioning.

We had an amazing experience with loving memories. It’s best to book the transfer directly from the hotel if you come from KL or you can take the bus to Jerantut and from there take a taxi to kuala tahan. When you want to take the boat from kuala tempeling, make sure to check the departure times beforehand.
The friendly staff welcome you at the check-in and help you with booking activities. The chalets are simple, but include everything you need including great airconditioning. The WiFi works great across the whole resort. The tour guides hosting the activities were kind, passionate and showed us everything in the jungle. Shoutout to Kemay!!
The breakfast and dinner buffet differ per day, if you don’t like what’s on the menu you can order from a seperate a la carte menu (extra charge).
it was not very clear how the accommodation could be reached. more help could be provided on that

While it is the best resort you can book in Kuala Tahan, it is still very poor. Good location to start tours.
The rooms are dirty, smell of mold, the bathroom is moldy, and the breakfast is very very poor. The food is not good.

It was our best stay in Malaysia!! We had a wonderful stay in the hotel - the location can't be better, there are a few walking trails starting from the hotel, we booked several tours (the night walk is great, for the night cruise you'll need luck to spot animals but the night sky is breathtaking, and the visit to the indigineous people was also interesting). We were very impressed by the friendliness and attention of the staff - reception, restaurant, housekeeping or guides, they were all greeting guests, smiling and eager to help. We felt very comfortable! The lodges are cute and cozy, hearing the sounds of the forest at night is truly calming. Food was good too, especially for lunch we always got something tasty and the drinks are great. Yes it is more expensive than on the other side of the river but the atmosphere is worth it! All in all I think it couldn't be better:)
The only thing I noticed was that it is quite hard to spot animals. There are many monkeys, insects, scorpions, snakes etc, but you are less likely to spot bigger animals (even though we woke up early and waited at the hides :D) But that is not the fault of the resort.

Fantastic resort in the jungle. Not cheap, but then you are in the middle of nowhere, so expect things to cost more. They provide a wonderful facility.
Can't think of anything. Have seen some comments about the meals online, but for the remote location we thought they were excellent.

The staff there were warm, responsive and made us feel at home. The tours were easy to organise and very enjoyable. The garden was very well kept and the walk to the chalets was pleasant.
The property itself was rather old and needed a bit of refurbishing.

the location, the surroundings and garden
The hotel should take more care to keep the rooms clean and they need to do some renovations in the chalets.
I asked the evening before check out if they can help me with my luggage and pick it up at 7 AM, what the reception confirmed. The breakfast and the reception were supposed to start at 7 AM. No one came and I had to carry my luggage through the hugh resort and the reception was not open till 7.45 AM when I left the hotel. I also had to walk down the steep staircase to the jetty what was horrible… so I was really disappointed when I left.

Friendly & helpful staffs, good location & serene environment.
My Chalet 49 was kind of dirty, water from tap was brownish, lights were too dim, and aircond not cold.
