Paradise

This resort is just lovely. My kids described it as paradise. The rooms are so spacious and grounds were well kept. Staff were lovely and the food also great. We will 100% return and are looking forward to it. Thanks so much Smiths Beach Resort!

Amazing stay, really enjoyed it, friendly staff and well kept grounds.

loved that the essential items were provided, and enough to last the whole visit.

could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly. found a sock under the bed and a comb down the side of a foot stool

Superb

Loved everything about the place. Definitely had the resort vibe feel. The location was absolutely amazing

The waiter that serves us on the Sunday night. Given the type of place it is you'd expect better service. When we finished our drinks he came over and didn't ask if we'd like any additional drinks. People would come into the restaurant and even though he was the closest he would stand there polishing glasses. Even when not busy he wouldn't help clear/reset the tables until the manager/supervisor was present. It's a small restaurant with limited staff where all staff need to help each other out. I feel sorry for the other two staff that were running around doing everything.

Fantastic view, wonderful experience ☺️

I like how peaceful it is there, there was not people around and at the same time we feel comfortable and safe.

Spiders, but is not a big issues for us after we get use to it.

An amazing location with a fantastic ocean view

Amazing location with a view of the ocean. An easy walk to the beach which was amazing. Great kitchen facilities and BBQ. Nice fireplace. Big bathrooms with luxurious baths and lots of towels.

Breakfast was included but only up to $110 for a family of 4. This got us 4 plates and 4 hot drinks but didn't cover juices. Not a biggie but could have been better explained at check-in. Also a drying rack would have been nice as we didn't really want to hang our laundry on the balcony (and we didn't want to waste energy on the dryer.

Disappointing.

We were disappointed the reception staff didn't do anything to allow us to check in even 1hr before 3pm. We had to wait from 10.30am to 3pm before our room was available. At other accommodation, upon arriving early, they will always prioritise us to check in even 1-3 hours early, however smiths was the only place we stayed that made us wait until 3pm. Very disappointing as I am sure something was available before and felt staff just wanted to make a point of not letting us get even a few minutes before 3pm. We had a tired 3yr and 5yr old so was disappointed they couldn't do anything extra for tired parents and cranky kids. Once we finally got to our beach shack, so many things were broken and not working - lounge and bedroom blinds, phone, wifi.

Relaxing and stunning location

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Location is simply beautiful and the resort facilities excellent

The beach shacks are very comfortable however the price aspect for self contained accommodation is on the higher side. A plus is less driving though

Beautiful pool , well appointed apartments, very comfortable bed, great to have fan as well as aircon for sleeping

A pool bar or table service to the pool area would have been a cherry on top.

love love love the accommodation and location.

Great location just across from Smith Beach. heated pool and delicious in-house restaurant were perfect.

as it’s pretty remote (which we loved), the restaurant is crazy not to offer a lunchtime menu of cocktails and tacos, salads and burgers.

Great base for exploring the Margaret River region

Great location, next to the beach with easy access to the Cape to Cape walking trails in both directions. Very helpful reception staff who were able to organise another night's accomodation for me without having to change cabin. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the on site restaurant, good choices and friendly staff.

Relaxing despite the hot water problem.

Apartment was available on arrival 90mins ahead of schedule. Quiet location adjacent to beach and scenic coastline. An issue with hot water supply was swiftly acknowledged and an acceptable resolution offered.

No hot water which resulted in no bath/shower on first night followed by a move of apartment next day. You need a degree in dishwasher operation to work it out! Wi-Fi dropped out too regularly.
