Location, hotel staff friendly and pleasant
Bed was really soft, with no support, poor nights sleep. Another guest I spoke to had the same issue. Inspection of the mattress showed it to be economy/ budget grade
Breakfast was very good, it however took 35 mins to arrive.

The breakfast was good! The room was pleasant and car park was handy.
As we stayed on the Sunday the price was cheaper had it been the Saturday I think the price would have been too much.

Breakfast
No evening meal ,had to go to a poser pub next door or an Asian restaurant across the road

Location and breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice beer garden
Very low ceilings.
Tiny shower room

Rooms are well furnished and individual and the building itself is lovely. 24 hour reception and bar availability was a surprise, but lovely to be able to have a drink after a late return to the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic!
nothing - thought it was lovely.

The breakfast was very good and plenty on the plate.
The room was good too the shower was excellent.
The noise from the back of the hotel as it is a pub and busy on the weekend with a DJ on Friday.
It was soon quiet when customers from the pub had left.

I love staying here, the breakfasts are amazing, staff couldn’t be more helpful
4.1
central location, comfortable large room, friendly staff, good breakfast
bathroom needs updating, very noisy due to bar being open until 12 and then street noise until 1am - no double glazing.

The breakfast, room and bed were all of an excellent standard.
The bedside lamp didn’t work, probably the bulb.
Also the toilet didn’t stop refilling this morning. I did report this.

Breakfast was insanely good!!
Fantastic choice on menu and catered for Coeliacs, ie Gluten intolerance which for my daughter was crucial.
Nothing could be better

Great old fashioned pub hotel in good central location. We had a first floor suite which was decent. The bar was very good with a friendly ambience and welcoming staff. Breakfast was excellent
Pity there was no food service (other than breakfast) but there are plenty of food establishments close by in particular the gastro pub next door which served great food and large selection of drinks

Breakfast was cooked to perfection :)
The bed mattress was very soft and sunk which unfortunately caused backache. The carpet was rather stained to the left of the table. Shower didn’t have much pressure but it’s an old building.

Brilliant breakfast! Good location. Lovely Indian resturant opposite.
Very noisy - had live music on which they hadn't told us about. Very small room which was super hot with only 1 small and very loud fan. Bathroom was shabby and the door was broken - when we told reception the lady said she was aware - had told management numerous times but nothing had been done about it. Overall, just a little disappointing
for the price.

Cooked breakfast was amazing and not had one this well cooked for a long time.
Shame that you could not get an evening meal onsite but like the information leaflet states there are a number of food outlets very close by with a good food pub next door.

The hotel has a pleasant ambience but the staff are very helpful, friendly and well trained. We have stayed before and will be back I'm sure.
Nothing.

Breakfast was great. Location was pretty.
The noise! It was so noisy we actually left and drove home so we could get some sleep. There was blaring thumping music going on until at least midnight (when we left).

Nothing.
