Viihtyisä hotelli ja hyvä sijainti

Aamiainen oli hyvä samoin ruoka ravintolassa. Hotellin sijainti hyvä.

Asiakaspalvelussa ensimmäinen henkilö joka sanoi ettei voi antaa meille huonetta koska olivat siivoamatta. Hän ei edes maininnut että voisimme odottaa kuten seuraavalla pariskunnalle lupasi. Varasin huoneen booking.comin kautta jossa oli vielä yksi huone vapaana. Hämmentävää miten paikanpäällä sanotaan ettei ole vapaita huoneita, mutta kun katsoin booking.comista huone olikin vapaana. Sekin aiheutti pahaa mieltä, että meille ystäväni kanssa ei edes ehdotettu odottamaan huoneen siivousta minkä hän ehdotti meidän jälkeen tulleelle pariskunnalle. Toinen vuorossa ollut henkilö oli erittäin ystävällinen ja samoin ravintolahenkilökunta.

Good food and great location. But let down by lack of understanding of basic marketing and how to treat customers.

Excellent quality on the food in the restaurant. Decent quality on breakfast.

Trying to sell us sub standard room for ordinary price. Even if there were regular decent rooms available. Warning: The rooms look nothing like the photo here.

Highly recommended stay.

The staff was amazing, they were really nice and helpful. Location is great (just by the harbor). Rooms are decent size, comfortable and clean. The restaurant in the hotel is highly recommended.

Great location and great restaurant with very good food (dinner). Room was clean.

The hotel is simple. Everything was clean, but very low standard, especially bathrooms. Staff is not very service minded.

Superb

Great location, just near the harbour. Lovely big room with view of harbour. Little touches like boot stand for wet footwear in corridor were great. Limited menu, but lovely food. Beds comfortable.

Kettle provided but no cups/mugs, nor any tea/coffee. Limited menu(2 fish dishes, 2 meat dishes) - no vegetarian or vegan dishes listed on menu (but may have been available - we didn't ask. Bedroom has an annoying strip/shelf along wall above beds, which makes it difficult/uncomfortable to sit up in bed (only 1 pillow provided). Single use plastic cups in bathroom- shame.

Thank you, a perfect stay

I love Vardo and the hotel reflects perfectly the ambient of this place. It was warm and cozy, the room had a nice view, very good restaurant and breakfast.

I had a great experience and I will come back soon :-)

Breakfast was just like I like it. Really good food. Had reindeer for dinner and it was just great. Easy access to the hotel and my room. Great experiences just outside the hotel, both with or without my camera. Steilneset Memorial commemorates the victims of the witchcraft processes in Finnmark was a special experience.

Nothing I didn't like. Should have had more time, but had to leave.

Central location. View of the harbor from the restaurant/breakfast room. Good restaurant and good breakfast. Helpful staff. Free parking in front of hotel.

No elevator. Small signs of wear in the room. Water gets all over the bathroom floor when showering(it evaporates quickly because of good floor heating)

Excellent location for a stop over on the Hurtigruten.

A mistake was made with our bank card, it was double charged but I expect this will be corrected.

Spacious room, good location.

Very hot in the room, had to keep the window open at night and then the noise from the street disturbed. That was the only way to ventilate the room. Also the cooking smells from restaurant below came into the room. The bed was unusually narrow and not very comfortable.

Good hotel in a great location.

Great location. Comfortable room, although darker curtains for the midnight sun would have been nice. Vardo is pretty small, so nothing is too far away. The hotel is near the harbour to catch the boat to Hornoya or the Big Boat (Hurtigruten). Great breakfast choices and coffee and tea available all day.

The only negative would be that the curtains really weren't that good for blocking the sun at night. Other than that, the hotel has all you would need in a small arctic town.
