I'm sorry but it appears that the camp grounds are being used as a permanent residence, there were cars everywhere and I couldn't park outside the cabin as my park wasn't assigned to the cabin. The room was smaller than expected - much smaller as the photos made it look much more spacious. I didn't feel comfortable staying as it does not have a camp ground feel to it with children running around, not sure the pool was even open

Pros - Good showers. Had our own parking spot right out the door step.
Cons - We had trouble finding the holiday park. We had to pay for the shower. No privacy in the bathroom had no door so anyone could walk straight in there. The bunk beds were so uncomfortable for my partner and I. I’d say we’d probably would’ve found somewhere cheaper & more high end on airbnb for the price for 2 nights. Not good money value.

Absolutely nothing
Wasn't what I expected instead of getting beds in the two rooms booked we had bunk beds was ok for the kids ended up with bumps on my head from hitting frame all the time on bottom bunk 😡 no complimentary coffee etc or fridge. if I had known would have taken my own saucepans etc to use in com Kitchen and the host was 😢 and un helpful won't be going there again.

The venue is really central to the area and which we were waiting that weekend The facilities although run down, are still functional
We did not have access to our room on the first night and had no choice but to sleep in our vehicle. there was no communication with us cancelling our late check in and we had no way of contacting the manager or anyone after we arrived

it was in a good area
the dirtiness, we reserved for a room with a bedroo
and kitchen but got a tiny room. had to pay for showers and spa. staff member was being smart to us.

The beds and bedding were great. The kids and I had a good sleep and were very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the playground, pool and spa.
The rooms facilities were good eg toaster, kettle and microwave and clean and worked very well. The room was hygienic and clean also.
The staff upgraded us to a family friend unit
The installed heaters did not work. Fortunately there was and oil heater for kids room but I heating in main room. The TV I was very difficult to control and the reception was bad. The remote and manual controls for the TV were broken.
There was no soap to wash our hands in the toilet.
I think the spa and pool needed to be cleaner and possibly chlorinated and cleaned thoroughly.

It suited the needs of our large group which was a football team. I found my room comfortable and it provided all the amenities that I required for my stay.
I found the big kitchen that we had use of was not well stocked with cooking facilities, and it could have been cleaner. We had use of the dining room off the kitchen and it would have been good to have bigger tables for our big group.

Reception staff was nice. Ok for overnight stays.
Laundry machines use $2 coins, reception doesn't have the facilities for you to draw out coins using a bank card, only can change notes to coins.
Place could do with some basic painting and tidying up. I have been here numerous times in past years, was shocked at the state, our cabin was on a slant. Wifi wasn't free.

the location was in a good area as it was close to amenities. an walking distance. The staff and residents were nice and respectful. Pool area was nice but a bit smaller than expected, ended up hitting my back on the ground when i jumped but otherwise ok.
bedding could've been better, look used and old. Carpet could do with a good clean as it was rather dirty when we walked in. Failed to mention the $100 bond on the website and no free wifi.

Spacious room
My email and their responses:
Hi there
We were highly disappointed with our stay it was the filthiest place we have ever stayed at especially for that price. The room was nice and big with plenty of space il give you that at least. We walked into the room and it smelt very damp and like curry as well. The microwave smelt disgusting we refused to use it. There was poo on the toilet brush. There was old soap in the shower with hair on it. There were 2 cockroaches in the room as well. One in the kitchen which I caught and disposed of and the other dead in the bedroom. Very disappointed and if it wasnt for the weather and our 1 year old twins we would have stayed elsewhere. We would like some kind of resolution offered before we post this publicly.
THEIR RESPONSE:
Hi Bernard,
We are sorry for the Inconvenience caused during the stay. We will check with House keeping and definitely take action on this. If you had brought this matter while during the stay we could have sorted earlier. We are happy to give 10% discount on your next booking with us. Thank you for your patience.
Kind regards
Divya
Reception Officer
MY RESPONSE
My husband bought it up with reception when we checked out but no response hence we are formally complaining. Your response is offensive, you expect us to bring cockroaches to you at midnight in pouring rain? I gave you an opportunity to rectify. We definitely will not be returning.
