Nice new motel

This is a good value motel. It's an easy 10-15 minute walk to main attractions such as the Octagon and the Botanic Gardens. The room is clean and new, with a good bathroom and kitchenette. We appreciated the heater in the bathroom in particular!

There's not much to complain about - the only thing we wished we had was a smart TV/some way to cast to the TV, as it just has basic cable and nothing else.

Fantastic accomodation and would go back tomorrow.

Clean, well appointed and well laid out. Comfortable bed and fantastic bathroom.

Unfortunately we arrived on the 16th of March and the university students across the road started celebrating St Patrick’s day at midnight 17th and was still going when we left at 8.30am.

Schöne Unterkunft.

Das Zimmer war relativ klein, wirkte aber gemütlich. Es gab ein zweites kleines Zimmer mit 2 Betten und eine kleine Küchenzeile. Der Herr an der Rezeption war außerordentlich freundlich. Das Bad war Prima.

Clean and brand new. Very comfortable to stay in and close to shops

The room next to the road does get the road noise and people walking past. Had to sleep in the back room and then couldn’t hear the noise

Friendly staff, and a clean, comfortable Room

Our room at Beechwood Boutique Motel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and gave us a nice welcome explaining all of the local attractions upon our arrival.

There was a little noise from the room above early one morning, but this thing is to be expected when you have a room above you.

This is the cleanest accommodation I have ever seen in Australia and NZ so far. Best facilities, comfortable beds, you cannot find anywhere dusty in their room. Highly recommend!

Motel was spectacularly clean, brightly lit and well equipped with lots of amenities. Beds were comfy and staff were very kind. It was akin to staying in a 4 star hotel.

The rooms were slightly smaller than expected, but nevertheless, the place was a steal for the price that we paid!

Great vale for a family of four with ability to self cater

The room came with a fully equiped kitchen with a 2 ring hob and saucepans as well as the normal microwave.

Cozy stay, close to sightseeing spots, and uni

The location is right on George street, a 15 minute walk to the octagon, shops, and city center. The beds are cozy. Bathroom is nicely updated with heated floors and towel rack. Kitchen includes essentials such as microwave and stove. No dishwasher though. You can watch TV in bed! The other room has two single beds (no tv). We stayed in unit 4. Parking is right outside your door. Hotel clerk was extremely friendly and provided us with a map and suggestions . We drove up the coast to tunnel beach in the morning and other spots like albatross and penguins (penguin colony tour is at night) . George street has tons of food options. Overall a very cozy stay.

The washer and dryer are an extra charge and located in the reception area so you must do laundry at a certain time and pay. This was not mentioned in accommodation ad.

Thank you for a nice comfortable stay.

Lovely accommodation, good value, clean and friendly staff. Quiet and very comfortable.

Not lacking anything. Perhaps water to be included as complimentary drink in the fridge? A little bit of distance away from the city centre, but this was not a big issue for us as we walked everywhere and the bus stop was near by, and we also explored North Dunedin while we were there.

Fabulous accommodation

We stayed in a fabulous one bedroom apartment. Very well designed and looked newly renovated. Comfortable bed and pillows, nice big bathroom, and the kitchenette included everything needed for self catering. It was quiet but close to the CBD. Friendly managers

The parking was a bit tight but okay

Beautifully appointed lots of little extras eg cheese knife! Big comfy bed , floor heating in the bathroom with extra heater. Comfy lounge easy walk to town centre. Very welcoming and helpful staff. We will definitely stay again

The security light right next to our bed made the room quite light all night.
