Restaurant was very good.
No parking at hotel, and little parking available in Portree. Very small room at a very high price. Worst value out of the 7 places we stayed in Scotland.

Cute ,quaint and great location . Very friendly staff.
Room got a little stuffy. We opened the window which solved the problem ( if you don’t mind street noise). We brought a white noise machine so it was all good.

The location is perfect.
There was no vacancy anywhere in Portree, and so we paid 400 euros to stay awake all night! The room was more than noisy. There is a bar next door, and you can hear the music loud and clear. There must be no soundproofing, because I could also hear people talking in the rooms next door, and people walking on the floor above. As if this wasn’t enough, I got a gastritis by the hotel’s food (never order the lamb burger!) and have been struggling for two days now. Overall, a great disappointment. The room costed 400 euros per night, and the decoration was some old books glued on the shelves (!) so that the customers won’t steal them… What can I say? This overpriced tourist trap almost destroyed our vacation in Scotland.

The hotel was right in town and it has a vintage vibes. There is everything provide in the room even and their staff are the loviest.
There is only 5 parking, which is always filled and it’s a bit difficult to drop off luggages.

Great view and location. center of town. James at reception desk was awesome. Great trip suggestions.
parking in front of hotel is tough

the location is amazing and very central and the rooms have a full view on the famous port and the rooms are super clean and the bathroom is big, clean and very modern
no parking but that has nothing to do with the hotel, it is the nature of the town, street parking are available and there is a very near parking lot that is available for the hotel residents

Location, price,facilities
Room door handle was broken
Light at bedside didn’t work
Breakfast was overall good, just bacon was overdone and tasted a bit of burnt fat

Located right in the middle of Portree. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The price was somewhat elevated, but given the location right in the city center it was to be expected.

the design and the hotel size gives it a warm feeling, the staff is great!
the location is near a supermarket and there is a lot of noise early in the morning from the supply trucks

the staff, location, food
it was smelling tobacco, the bathroom smells terrible, the bath had mold

Very conveniently located in the very center. Nice small hotel. Rooms equipped for 4-stars as advertised. The hotel staff was helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We have also booked dinner at this hotel and it was great as well.
The room was really tiny. We had to move some furniture to be able to open two suitcases. The first night was terrible because of the creaking fire door that we heard late at night and early in the morning. We raised this concern the next morning and even thought of moving, but the door was fixed immediately and our second night was much better.

good breakfast
too much noise. since 6.00 AM a truck in front of our window started moving pallets to the supermarket storage and it ended up at 9AM.
The hotel sells superior de luxe bedroom with a sea view which does not exist (avoid room 19 for that price).

Great location! Good value, breakfast was delicious! Staff was exceptional!
No elevator (difficult toting luggage up multiple narrow stairways), and no AC. It was nearly too warm to sleep.

Very comfortable with excellent facilities. Associated restaurant was wonderful with delicious food. Location by the harbour. Lack of local parking was clearly communicated so used local public car park which was perfectly fine. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly.

Had a great stay and a lovely night here.
Nice staff, specially the lady at the reception when we checked in in the evening. She is friendly, helpful and offered us some reccomendations around the area.
Nice location as well, near Potree habour, very convenient.
Nice room, well equipped, well decorated, very clean, and very quiet as well!! The soundproof is actually beyond our expectations!
The absolute number of the price is a bit high honestly, but considering our last minute booking and the isle now entering the peak of tourist season, relatively speaking, the price is ok and understandable.

Very helpful staff who went out of their way to cater for food intolerances
Hotel restaurant shut for the two days we were staying, we were given no prior warning, were directed to the sister hotel but different ambience from where we had chosen to stay. Lack of soundproofing in the rooms due to it being an older building.
