Perfect location to travel into central Birmingham in the morning

Room was very comfortable and the bed was perfect for me. Food in the restaurant was really good value for money.

There was a motor type noise that kept going off every few minutes. Thankfully it stopped around 9pm

Disappointed

The location. Free parking.

Upon arrival we where told breakfast isn’t served until 8am. We had an early checkout so no breakfast. No refund or even a alternative ie fruit, cereal.. Staff member very unsympathetic. Very frustrating as we never checked in until late so couldn’t make alternative plans. No mention of 8am breakfast when booking.

Room clean and tidy although wet room bathroom needed work - Drain grubby looking and no toilet roll holder - it was on the back of the toilet. Food is what it is - if you like carvery I guess you will like it but it isn't the best carvery I have had either. They say do one thing well but Toby don't quite manage that at this location (I have to be honest it has put me off eating at other Tobys) Breakfast is poor quality and no continental options or even cold drinks included at breakfast. Staff are really friendly which is great when your away on your own and the beer is good. Most importantly of all for me is the the location which is great for QE hospital. With free parking and just minutes from the motorway I have stayed here a number of times for hospital appointments as it is easy and convenient and cost effective

Food isn't great although there are fast food places across the road. Breakfast has nothing other than fried stuff and tea / coffee. No juices/ cereals etc which lets it down

Bedding clean, room of a decent standard

Mould on bathroom ceiling, damp on bedroom ceiling, staff unsure of how to check us in, carvery for both dinner and breakfast wasn't good, in fact the worst I've ever had anywhere. Some lights didn't work, room was cold on arrival.

Great breakfast. Perfect to have a roast for dinner also. Everything was easy.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable but other than that all excellent

Comfortable and cosy secure accommodation, I will definitely return.

The room was cosy and comfortable and has been on my previous visits. Staff are warm and friendly individuals who treat everyone with respect even in a busy environment. Nothing is too much trouble.

Convenience of carvery and bar and size of room

Pillows were so hard I got a headache. Mattress was hard. Although a kettle was provided there was no access to water which meant no coffee
