Nice, but

Easy fast checkin, clean and neat cabin.

Seems to be a large number of construction workers staying there with late nights and early mornings. Not their fault, they did nothing wrong, just a bit disruptive.

Cheap Basic Cabin

Late booking for one night. We chose basic cabin, as wouldn't be spending much time there. It had all we needed for our stay, but I wouldn't book a basic cabin again - it was too basic for my liking! However, beds were comfy & it was clean.& cheap.

Given it was a basic cabin & very cheap, I can't really complain about anything, though the cabin could probably do with some general repairs to infrastructure

A pleasant one night stay, would upgrade to better cabin next time.

Bedding was warm and comfortable, shower was very good, everything supplied ie cups, glasses etc was in good condition.

We realise it was a budget cabin, but when we moved around the living area everything creaked, squeaked and groaned, the floor, the cabinet surrounding the fridge...very noisy when trying to creep to the bathroom through the night.

Reception was not at all welcoming, arrived at 4.25pm & the late pack arrival had already been put into the letterbox, reception seemed annoyed but considering the office, according to their site closed at 5.30 I couldn’t see why our reception was fairly unwelcoming, beds uncomfortable, no detail to cleanliness, would not recommend

Unit maintenance required.

Facilities clean and neat and camp kitchen great.

Our television would not find stations when turned on. Office was closed so could not get help. Aircon was not effective. Screen door would not lock.

Good room, although welcome pack wasn't there.

Close to wine tasting. Good to hear kookaburras in the morning. Room was good. I like the idea that the TV can be viewed in the dining area or turned around to the bunk beds (although you have to duck down if you want to go past).

My after hours welcome pack wasn't where it was supposed to be. Had to ring the after hours number & wait for a staff member to get it.

Very much enjoyed and given the opportunity would stay again.

The staff were just brilliant!! The location was perfect and our cabin whilst not modern it was clean and functional. The bed was very comfortable. The amenities were outstanding, especially for families. The atmosphere of the park was friendly.

Unfortunately there were some very inconsiderate people who did not clean a couple of bbq's after using them which really deterred people from using them. I definitely don't blame the park operators for these inconsiderate people and it is probably unfair to mention but that was the only negative of the whole Discovery Park Clare experience. We would definitely recommend staying there.

a last minute break away from the rat race with all we needed at the site for our daughters age 8 & 9

was upgraded from a standard so was really happy. perfect location near the pool and pillow. great outdoor deck area

The grounds of the caravan pm were well maintained.

The villa was old and small. The second bedroom was very small and the bed in the main bedroom needs replacing. The bathroom was very basic and needs an upgrade.

Bad experience completely turned around thanks to the owner.

the owner upgraded us (no charge) as we thought the 1st cabin was sub standard for what we had originally upgraded to, on Booking.com. The new property was much more appropriate and appreciated. the owner was delightful and very keen to make our experience excellent.

the first property was very old and more suitable for a school group. We had originally paid more and upgraded and paid premium price and this wasn’t reflected in the cabin.
