Great location, friendly staff and well priced
Hot water doesn't last very long in the cabins and they are in desperate need of a make over. They look the same way they did over 20 years ago.
4.5
Location, beds, kitchenette, bathroom, view was amazing.
The pool wasn’t working (not really anyone’s fault!), the top bunks could have done with a quilt instead of a blanket.

The manager fixed up our booking, hadn’t been notified from booking.com that we were coming.
I had booked a cabin through booking.com, but ended up in a motel room. Stuff up with the booking.

Not a lot to like, regretted going, will never go again, very disappointed with booking.com for the pig sty we paid for wont trust booking.com ever again
No aircon only a pedestal fan ,none of the windows closed properly and a huge security risk, cupboard doors not fitting properly, both drawers wouldnt open properly as they scraped on the fridge ,tv up too high and hurt your neck watching it,the cabin smelled awful when we first went in and was not cleaned very well at aĺl,so disappointed we had paid $300 for 3 nights and had to stay or lose our money, not very happy booking.com for such a horrible state of the cabin

The value for money wasn't great with the quality of the cabins

There was nothing really that we could say we liked.
The cabin was very old and dated. The couch was smelly and looked quite dirty. The cabins were so close to each other, just packed in like sardines. Not at all a pleasant place to stay!

Great view of Bass Straight
Hotel is on the market!!!
Very dated ammenities with no visible repairs to issues.
Bathroom full of mould and peeling paint.
Room had an unusual odour.
Located on Bass Highway which is extremely busy so minimal sleep.
The receptionist just said to enjoy the view…

Bed was Comfortable, love having access to the pool and to the BBQ facilities and its a great location just outside the city centre of Burnie so not to noisy but close enough for take away and shopping.
the Bathrooms could be a little bigger, as a larger woman using the toilet is not exactly easy or comfortable and if you are extra tall you also bang your arm, head etc just trying to take car of your business.

it was affordable
it was further out of Burnie than I realised and as an 80’s holiday destination and accompanying location I’m sure it was popular at the height of its times. these cabins need a little love.

Everything we needed to make a busy weekend easy.
We'll be back next month!

Excellent location, easy access to everything we needed, staff were very friendly and accommodating, our room was very spacious in a great location, very quiet
Cook top and cookware needs to be updated
