There was no wifi, it didn’t work. Needed the wifi to work so had to purchase personal wifi. First room we had, the air conditioning did not work. Second room we were moved to, the air conditioning would get turned off when we left the room and we would get back to our room and it would be hot again.

Ideal location near the Spanish steps & near metro station. The balcony is a big bonus.
We stayed 3 nights, no internet for entire stay & this was not communicated prior to checking-in

Centrally located, walking distance to all major attractions. Restaurants and cafes just a stones throw away.
My room was very clean, it included a/c, a tv and a balcony which had a lovely Roman view.
The shower was a bit too narrow for my liking but functional all the same.

It's the second time I've stayed at this hotel and I've always liked it for its location, price, service, among other things.
that in the two days there was no wifi and it is extremely important as a foreigner that they have it.
3.5
location
no private balcony, bad communication from our host, no flexibility or help for check in kai luggage storage even though rooms were empty, no internet for all the 3 days of stay

Ilaria was a great communicator from the start!. The location was very close to many things, including the Spanish steps, which were just 2 blocks away! It does require a couple blocks of inclined walking to get back there from the main road, Via Tritone, which might be a challenge to less fit or mobile guests. We had a balcony, which would have been fun to spend a little time on, had the weather cooperated. Nonetheless, it was fun to look up and down the streets from up there. The room was comfortable! Lots of mirrors and outlets. It also had a small fridge with a couple of bottles of water. The bath towels seemed new and were a nice size, but they did put off a lot of lint(hence the idea they may be new).
There isn't really anything we didn't like, per say. More like room for improvement. The bed was comfortable enough, but the bottom sheet kept coming loose, like maybe it wasn't big enough for the bed. Not sure if fitted bottom sheets are not used here but that was frustrating and there was no mattress cover, which I found a little unnerving for a hotel mattress. It would also be nice to have at least 2 more pillows on the bed. One pillow each isn't enough.

The location couldn't be any better! Walking distance to everything.
Noise. Lots of noise and not very isolated so.you can hear other guests in their room.as of they're sitting next to you.
5.0
definitely the location!!!
The elevator is only from the first floor (and also a bit claustrophobic), there is some mold on the walls in the shower and the mattresses were too soft for our taste

Great room. The little patio was great. Heating was perfect for the winter. Good location and responsive staff.

great location right near the Spanish steps and easy access to the metro to get around town. the host was very accommodating, allowing us to drop our bags prior to check in.
if you are a light sleeper should bring a sound machine or ear plugs. There was some street traffic, which is to be expected, but the sound machine took care of it all once turned on.

Fantastic location for seeing the sites of Rome. Easy self-check in.
The room had an unfortunate smell, like old cigarettes. Bed and linen was not great or particularly comfy although everything was clean.

The room was in a good location if you'd like to be in the middle of things during your trip. Instructions on entering the room were given via WhatsApp were easy to follow.
The room was situated in a converted flat with one other "bedroom" in the hallway. It wasn't the quietest or most comfortable stay I had in Rome. For the price, I would stay somewhere a bit further to have better accomodations.

the elevator is very vintage. but not too bad
4.5
Great location, nice apartment, clean. Good windows - the location is quite busy, but when we closed windows we couldnt hear anything. Balcony.
The building itself isn’t very well maintained (mess in the main hall).

The room is small but has everything you need for a nice stay as a solo traveler. It was clean and the AC worked well. The real stars are the balcony with a view and the location. it was so nice to sit and have an espresso on the balcony in the morning, then have only a 5 minute walk to Piazza di Spagna. It is also conveniently located between the Spagna and Barberini metro stations to explore other sites in Rome. The host was very responsive and wonderful with communication. I would stay again!
Travelers should be aware that you have to go up one flight of stairs to reach the bottom floor of the elevator. Also the elevator is very small and may be inconvenient for those traveling with lots of large luggage. For me, traveling with a carry-on and a backpack, it was the perfect size.
