Walking distance to the park entrance and restaurants. Breakfast with big selection of Chinese and western food. Very helpful concierge.
Maybe time for a little touch up - carpet and other surfaces. Some more vegetarian options in the restaurants would be appreciated.
1.0
Centrally located
Staff doesn’t speak English, hotel in desperate need of renovation, aircon not working, room safe locked, gym equipment not functional, breakfast very poor quality and like in a bus station.
4.0
relative to others this is probably one of the best, the staff was very friendly, helpful and professional
had high expectation as it’s advertised as a 5 star hotel but it’s actually somewhere probably between a 3 and 4
2.5
The pasta at dinner from the restaurant was terrible
4.0
Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location, close to the National Park and the city centre with shops and restaurants. Quick staff response to the SOS emergency call (checked accidentally)
Poor choice of dining options inside the hotel.
3.5
The location next to the National Park was a bonus. The bed was comfortable. Easy access to places to eat other meals. Breakfast has multiple options.
The property seems to be "tired" and could be renovated a bit. The massage place on site was a bit weird - it was really cold inside and did not seem to be open. They had people come and do a foot massage, but it took some time. Waiting in a cold room, which was not very welcoming was not a positive start to the experience. The price was not bad and the masseuse did a good job.

Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room and very comfortable bed. Huge tub in the bathroom. The restaurant downstairs is pretty good, not a big choice of food, but everything is tasty and the service is good. 15-20 minutes walk from the park entrance
The pool starts to work at 8am as they say, but there is always barrier at the pool entrance till noon, so it’s not obvious if the pool is opened or not. We found out it’s working, but why do they put barrier then? Waisted time in the morning, while waiting for opening

Great location, nice pool, perfect to explore the mountains
All good

Good location, very close to the east gate of the national park where the view of avatar is.
The staff was rude.
We have some benefits with the rooms but when we asked the receptionist they told us that they know nothing about that.
Such as 1 hour free recreation ( they asked us to pay anyway ) also a free in room service breakfast that they said they didn't have any. We had to talk to the manager to have these benefits.
I don't think it reaches a 5 stars hotel standards.

we loved Anne on the reception desk- she was very helpful and we loved the Indian guy but i dont remember his name!
photos aren’t the same as in real life

The location is great if you want to be close to one of the main park entrances. It is close to the East gate which is very convenient.
The room was lovely and comfy. The pool was amazing - it’s huge, was lovely and warm and was very fun to have an afternoon swim in!
The breakfast wasn’t great - it’s in a huge room, was extremely busy with lots of tourists and the food wasn’t very tasty.
The bathroom in the room is divided by some shutters - there is not much privacy so make sure you’re comfortable with the person you’re sharing a room with!

clean rooms, good service, close to the national forest park entrance.

Bob was super kind and gentle to us.
I would love to have more vegetarian options on menu.

Location was excellent - a 10 minute walk to the national park’s gate and plenty of local restaurants nearby.
Staff were helpful and attentive, they were always looking for ways to help and were happy to give recommendations on where to eat and drink.
Rooms were always cleaned to a high standard.
Breakfast always included a wide variety of cuisines and food types to suit anyone.
Make sure to bring a swimming cap if you want to use the pool! This is a requirement but was enforced somewhat inconsistently as there were often people swimming without one.

Attentive front of house manager. Good local food in restaurant at reasonable price. 15 minute walk to scenic area entrance
Bathroom - badly leaking shower cubicle grouting, poor toilet, one day no toilet paper. A mass tourism coach tour hotel rather than 5 star haven!
4.5
The manager (codename Bob) was the best person working in the hotel.
Room carpet was wet as we arrived. People smoking on the hallways and in the elevator.

We loved our stay! We booked two rooms and had an upgrade to executive rooms. The staff was super polite and helpful.
4.5
Excellent breakfast (Western and Chinese options), great staff, excellent location and good price. Stayed here 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is an external massage centre and KTV on the property as well.
The gym equipment is very outdated and hard to use, however, the gym showers are nice.

The best thing of this hotel besides the location, is Mr. Bob , the Indian manager who works at the front office. He's great and always willing to help. Thanks to his suggestions we had a great time visiting Zhangjiajie.
The hotel is a bit old. The breakfast is just so-so. I was impressed by the poor croissants. We had dinner at the All day dining restaurant and we ordered their special chicken. The taste was good but the meat was overcooked and hard as a rock.

Nice room, really polite staff and great location if you want to visit the mountains

Restaurant had a selection of western and asian food, which was delicious. room very comfortable.
