Good value for money with a small family. Needed to drive into town though with small kids out of a pram it’s too far to walk
The pool area was tired as were some parts of the cabin but it’s basic and for the money you pay you wouldn’t expect 5 stars!

Comfy bed
Being put in the pet friendly room when we had no pets with us.

Wifi connection is poor and needs to be updated or relocated. Not only is this a service to customers but also can be a dangerous if no service is available and needed in a emergency.
Paul and jocelyn are great to deal with, but as for the receptionist dealing with face to face and online enquiries is poor due to being rude and blunt with customers. Online advertising is deceiving as what I thought I was getting when I booked was totally different to what I received which is disappointing.
Totally understand that staff is hard to get, but for the park not to be staffed at the front office is poor for people arriving on the weekends.
Charging for cabins if they aint clean at the time of checkout is not fair. Yes customers need to respect the facility but charge only for damages.
Using booking.com is ok but also need to know if animals have been in the cabins as if a person suffers from allergies this can be a concern. Maybe allocate one cabin for this. During my stay had to go to the pharmacy to get medication due to one of my family members having a reaction.
Plus also when you know a customer is arriving maybe turn on the heater/air con in the cabins depending on the seasons.
Not pleasant walking into a cold or warm cabin on arrival after a long drive.
I wish Paul the owner all the best with improving the park and services for future customers.

It was comfy and clean.
The tv didn’t work we couldn’t get channels or play a dvd. We also had zero internet service however we were warned of this prior to arriving.

The location was good.
The heater in our cabin was broken so we froze all weekend. The bathroom fan didn’t work at all. The kitchen sponges and tea towel were dirty and unchanged from the previous guests.

wifi didn’t work, tv reception didn’t work and sounded like there were baby mice nesting in the roof of the cabin making noise

it was tidy and served it’s purpose
the small things matter
no tea spoons, tissues, or dish cloth to do dishes

The glamping pod was a cosy, lovely way to spend the long weekend. We hired a fire pit and enjoyed the stars sitting on our front deck . Was peaceful, warm and clean. Would recommend for a quiet couple weekend.
(Wife) I loved the pod. But it does not have a mirror in the bathroom or anywhere . So I could have looked like shrek for the entire weekend, haha. Cannot complain as we were the first people to stay in the newly built pod.

Overall a nice park in lovely location and surroundings and overall clean.
The bed in our cabin was comfortable.
With no wifi and horrible phone reception (2 bars of 3G only) one is rather disconnected from the world, hence this is not a suitable place for those of us who need to stay in touch with business.
Our cabin was rather basic, and while it was generally clean, it is very tired and for what is being offered simply overpriced. Essentially all tabs are “wonky” and everything just feels run-down, including one plate on the stove not working at all.
Being then charged $20 per dog per day is another factor I don’t appreciate. While one understands an extra cost for more cleaning, such a fee is excessive.

Very comfortable unit except for the unit next to us having a dog that annoyed us
No internet connection, I went for work and had to go into town for internet service

Cleanliness was lacking. Windows sills covered in dust. All taps dripping, tap handles loose. Gas hot plate with broken knob. Receptionist not friendly.

We were very impressed with the facilities - value for money. The staff member who checked us in was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had a great time and we will be back.
The only thing was that there were ants in the bathroom, but overall the cabin was clean and very well presented so we were not overly bothered.
Did not take away from our stay and 100% will be back and recommend you to others.

Bed and pillows were comfortable, nice view outside the window - lots of trees and green
Cooking was easy - sufficient cooking utensils
Shower was good - plenty of hot water with good water pressure
The wooden cabin floor was sticky / not clean
Location of cabin - close to main road so traffic noise was loud, close to swimming pool so exposed to noise especially when there were screaming kids using the pool
Outdoor table / chairs were dirty
No hair dryer
