We had great time at Villa Kult! The staff is super kind and understanding! Communication was on point. Everything was perfect, extremely clean rooms, calm, comfortable! The location is good, very close to Charité Hospital, close to bus stop to go to the city center. I recommend this place with both hands!
Everything was great.

The location is walking distance to Charité, which was my purpose of visit. The neighborhood is very tranquil and pleasant to spend time with good restaurants nearby. There are numerous works of art on display in the house, which was a beautiful surprise. The bed is comfortable and breakfast filling.

Totally unique and luxurious property. My room was on the ground floor, and I loved the eclectic mix of European antiques and African art furnishings. Huge bathroom with a wonderful claw foot tub and a shower with great water pressure. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent. But the best part was the host, Renate. What a lovely person. I really enjoyed chatting with her. She is so warm and straightforward and willing to share about the property and her life.
Nothing really. The location might not be super convenient for some, but it was perfect for me. Bus stop <100m away (buses every 5-10 minutes take you quickly to Rathaus Steglitz train station).
The only other thing I would mention is that this is a huge old house, with wood floors and a staircase. So when people above you move around, you hear it. But I had earplugs, so it didn’t bother me at all.

A stay at the Residenz Villa Kult is a real treat for culture and nature lovers. The place is particularly enchanting in Spring when nightingales are going wild. This old villa beautifully blends the past with the present. The rooms are pleasantly, tastefully and comfortably furnished. The host is welcoming and truly charming. I really felt like chez les amis.

This is not for everyone: If you want to do the city center the location is suboptimal and there are definitly more "normal" appartments. And yet I loved it: An old mansion house with creaky floorboards, a large garden, balconies and communal spaces, filled with a collection of antiquties and art. It's got spirit and authenticity, I'd take that over the a run-of-the-mill hotel room every time.
The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fresh and abundant, made individually for each person in the nearby kitchen.
Finally, take note that the surrounding quarters are some of the more posh, old and high-class areas of Berlin. I spent an afternoon just walking around and enjoying the scenery. Enjoy.

The lady who received us was super nice, the house is very pretty and the breakfast is very good as well.
I really liked the wooden floors and the decoration
I do not know if it was possible, but if they can keep the luggage for you while you go out before leaving Berlin, that service would be great.

Gorgeous, spacious, quirky room. Excellent breakfast and lovely hosts. To me this is fantastic value for money. Public transport connections are good.

The hosts and staff were gracious and very knowledgeable.
My only "complaint" is that I wanted to stay in my room and have my first cup of coffee in my pajamas. I'm an American and not use to being services!

Spacious room and outstanding breakfast. Very helpful advice regarding local transport and cultural sightseeing options (the premises are close to transport options).
Nothing to dislike. This is a vintage building and the timber floors creak a bit. And you must be happy to use stairs. Neither of which troubled us.

I had an amazing stay at the Residenz Villa Kut! I would describe it more as a bed and breakfast than a hotel. The owners were very friendly, allowed me to drop off my suitcase early, and let me leave it after checkout time until I departed from Berlin. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL. I travel to Germany often for work, and it was, hands down, the best! Residenz Villa Kut is easily accessible by two bus lines that will connect you with the larger Berlin transportation network. Would definitely consider staying there again!

I really liked the calmness of the area, but with good connection to the centre of Berlin. Everything felt really luxurious in the Africa suit. Very comfortable couch and bed, really enjoyed. I also liked the effort they did on my breakfast. As I only asked for yoghurt and egg, they still tried to make it different for me each of my 3 days there. Very nice staff as well :)
The only minor point that was a shame, was that when I tried to take a bath with the bathroom door closed. Somehow my WiFi didn't reach there. But wasn't a big problem.

Great hosts, family atmosphere, wonderful breakfast, quiet room. Lovingly furnished villa, very good connections to the city center. Perfect for individualists who have already seen a lot and are looking for and finding something special.
No complains!

Great selection of breakfast items and cooked to perfection.
Shutters or rolladen to keep out more light in the morning.
