Comfy and affordable beachfront ocean view one bedroom apartment

Beautiful sunsets, we (my husband, myself and a dog) stayed in a one bedroom apartment facing the ocean with a balcony on the top floor at the beginning of Jan 2022. Very comfortable and clean. Small kitchen, dining, lounge, fridge. Air con in both the living area and the bedroom. A hose outside to wash your feet from the beach instead of dragging it in to the foyer and apartment. Everyone was friendly. We really enjoyed our stay, it was fantastic for us as we prefer having our privacy, we don't watch tv, as we prefer to go out or have the beach/ocean view to relax with on the balcony/from the dining or lounge area. We were initially worried because of the some of their past reviews. We would definitely consider going back, especially as an affordable option.

The balcony was missing a small table, but we found an alternative using furniture from inside so we could enjoy a drink/meal looking out at the ocean. The kitchen was ok...a tad bit limited, we had to go out and get a small squeezer for juice, a chopping board, a wooden spoon, and a frying pan so we can enjoy having some meals in the apartment instead of eating out all the time/having take out. The water really runs hot- careful not to burn yourself. But these are all minor aspects. It was really an enjoyable and affordable place to be in during the start of Jan 2022.

The location and view

We had all kinds of problems in the 2 weeks I spent there: cleanliness (dirty sheets), out of water 3 times, broken toilet (which took them 5 days to fix!), WiFi was completely unreliable, water and gas in the kitchen were really low (it took us 20 mins to boil water), furniture was broken down (chairs, wardrobe, etc), beach towels were not provided (even though you are across the street from the beach), among other things, and the attitude of the staff was that of helplessness and nothing they could do. I brought all this up to the owner, and the best she did was to promise to reimburse 1 night, out of the 14! You pay a 4-star price and don’t even get the service for 1! I don’t recommend at all.
