Economical and cosy

Nice place stay, walking didtance to main street and pubs.

Bathroom was very small for 6' people.

Nice place in Te Anau

Our room, #14, was a great fit for our party of three adults. The back patio with a table & umbrella were nice to enjoy the early evening outdoors and we had adequate space and cooking items in the kitchen for our meal preparations. Parking was easy and right in front of our door! The staff was courteous, very helpful, and very much appreciated!

Only one comment here about the low height of the shower head. It was a bit challenging for me at 6 foot.

Host very friendly and helpful. Clean, highly recommended.

The hot plate take forever to cook bacon. Suggest to go for family room or check with host if want to cook.

Location, room, view from the room of the mountains, the kitchenette.

The fact that they add on a three percent surcharge if you pay with a credit card. That's not very honest. This should already integrated into the price since most people using Booking com pay with a credit card. Also the fact that there is a surcharge if you arrive after 8 pm should be presented from the first page.

Cosy in Te Anau

Location near the lake & town makes it a perfect base. Room 8 was large, seperate bedroom, good kitchen & seating area. It was very clean & comfortable - good beds.

a value-for-money accommodation for people who travelled budget-consciously.

there is cooking facilities and we used our own air fryer, which is so convenient.

the Hot/cold water mixer is not working well especially at shower.

The owner (thank you so much mate!) and his manager (ask to see him, so funny) were so kind and helpful ! The room was pretty big with a little view on the lake. The lake (and the beach), all the restaurants/shops are close to the motel.

Happy Family

Owner was surprised when I rang to say I may be late for checkin due to traffic congestion. Also because we were staying for Christmas day he gave us a lovely tin of biscuits.

That we were going to be charged if we were late to checkin even though I took the time and courtesy to call and inform him of our traffic holdups.

we have a very pleasant & comfortable stay

The owner Tilly help us to clear the snow off the car. She is very friendly & helpful during our stay. Her son John help us to book tours to Milford Sound & help us to make reservations for dinner.
