Very Friendly staff. Can’t do enough to help you. Rooms were really clean. Being so hot outside room temp was perfect

Very expensive for the quality and staff needs to be more welcoming and efficient

The room is confortable and clean.

The use of the pool is very very expensive. The staff is not diligent and efficient, most of the times there is no one at the reception and we had to ask several times for an extra chair before being attended. We didn't feel welcome and the value for money is very poor.

Location, staff and cleanliness let down by a collective of minor issues.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a spa hotel, i’d expect to have relevant information of what was on offer in the room/hotel in general. The lack of information or actual sign posts (laminated A4 stuck to a wall is info, but not 4 star)to the spa/swimming pool was surprising. The fact that no facilities were available without a surcharge was covered in the info about the hotel, however the cost of €19 per person and €17,50 per child to use the swimming pool is a poor pricing point. Again the lack of info still amazes me, having to go to the reception to ask where the swimming pool/spa was is indicative of the weird business model they have there. The breakfast was average, why not provide fresh coffee? serving instant nescafe is never a substitute. It really could be so much more with little effort and this is what really dissappointed us. The location, cleanliness and staff were great, they are let down by the points mentioned above. Such a shame.

Beautiful place to stay!

The breakfast was excellent as well as dinner. We were spoiled for choices at breakfast, with even local biscuits and bread. Dinner had two set dishes (meat or fish). The meat dish was very tasty. The location and its surrounding is fabulous, calm, beautiful landscape. But the great value of the hotel are the staff, very young still but very professional. Very helpful, the greatest asset of this hotel!

A great place to stay if you want to explore inland Portugal

Excellent sized room, comfy bed with very little noise including air conditioning, friendly staff & tremendous variety for breakfast including bacon sausage and scrambled egg.

Big spacious room with lovely view.

Not 4 star in room. Not even a fridge or WiFi password or a bottle of water or anything to say it was not cheap hotel. Breakfast was poor with terrible service. Staff standing around doing nothing. Had to wait 20 minutes for hot food - too long when you're working. Telephone in room didn't work. No water in bathroom in morning - no apology or compensation offered.

Wouldn't stay again if it was free.

Location is great. Rooms spacious.

Poor attitude of receptionist, full of coach parties, charge €20 to use the pool (for 45 min) €38 for 20 min in the sauna. Very Limited catering. Cobwebs in the room, horrible bathroom (only showers, no baths) over sink mirror light only half worked and was not fixed to the wall. Disgusting plastic mattress protector. Took 3hours to get aircon on friday arrival. Aircon worked find all weekend and then stop when the coach parties left. We were told they had engineers on site. But do not believe their story. They just didn't want to waste money on a the few guests (2 or 3 rooms) left in the hotel. Fantastic balcony but no furniture with which to enjoy it. Balcony never cleaned, cigarette butt stubbed out against pillar, cobwebs and dead insects left on the floor. In a five day stay they didn't service the room on one day and never cleaned the shower cubical which was dirty on our arrival. Dangerous sockets and lamp plugs.

Have stayed here a few times now and beginning to look a bit tired. Safe didn’t work, door didn’t lock properly, wardrobe door off hinge, shower doors didn’t close and huge crack right along the wall in the room.
