We had a fabulous time on Crete.

The views are beautiful, it’s very peaceful & secure. Not far to drive from local restaurants and pleasant to walk in the hills. Charis was very friendly and hospitable he brought us fresh bread every morning & we could pick fruit from the garden.

Exceptional

Haris, Maria and their son Yiannis were super nice, warm-hearted people and outstanding hosts. Every morning Haris brought fresh bread, we got fresh fruit from the garden and self made Olive oil (which was very tasteful). They came by the property every day and were there for any questions, helped out with any wish as good as possible and gave good tips for restaurants, excursions etc. We enjoyed the 3 bedroom villa and loved having the private Pool and garden where we stayed basically the whole day when being at the Villa. We also loved the peaceful and quiet environment of the Villa in the middle of the Olive groves and the view! You need a car but some good restaurants, the Beach and Agia Marina are in a short driving distance. The location of the Villa is generally good to explore the Chania Region. We would defintely come back!!

Relaxing and comfortable

beautiful location with stunning views. the property is spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. the swimming pool was awesome too

Relaxing, luxury villa with breathtaking scenery and wonderful hosts

Amazing 2 week holiday due to the exceptional hosts Harris and Maria and their beautiful breathtaking villas. They are wonderful people, leaving bread every morning,gifts of olive oil, wine and Raki produced by Harris We have never experienced such kindness on holiday. 100% we will be returning .

Too short a stay, but exceeded our expectations. We would certainly like to return.

Beautiful country property, well maintained, clean. Sizeable pool, well kept gardens with BBQ and bread oven. Quiet location, private, secure. A few minutes drive from the town and beach. Friendly and welcoming hosts - wonderful!

One of our favourite holiday destinations.

This property was situated in one of the most beautiful locations we have ever stayed in. It was so peaceful, surrounded by olive groves and the sound of birds and with views of the sea in the distance. The sunsets were awe inspiring. The pool was a good size and the outdoor area was very comfortable with table and chairs, sun loungers and shade provided by umbrellas. We stayed in the middle house , which has two bedrooms an outdoor pizza oven and a bbq. The two bedrooms are comfortable and spacious . The downstairs one has sliding doors out to the patio and the upstairs one has views that you never want to leave. Harris and Yannis were very helpful hosts. Harris arrived most mornings with bread and we also loved his delicious olive oil made from his own olives. We were particularly lucky that it was orange season when we stayed and we had the pleasure of tasting the sweetest orange juice ever. Yannis always responded speedily to any questions including helping us with a dental emergency which we particularly appreciated.

The kitchen /living area is small for a family of four . We like to cook and there was no counter space for preparing food/chopping etc. Also because there is no dishwasher we spent too much time washing dishes. Having said that we spent most of our time outside and that was just beautiful.

Great time at a luxurious retreat. Great Pool and fantastic view within olive hills.

Our host Haris was extremely kind and surprised us every morning with fresh bread. Also, we were given olive oil, wine, pomegranate and oranges from the premise. The view from the villa was fantastic. Barbeque facilities were very good, dry wood provided. Our hosts were helpful in every aspect and advised us to go to Agia Apostoli beach and take fresh fish from O Vithos, for example.

An excellent villa and host

We had an amazing stay at Meliades Villas. We were in the 2 bedroom villa. The facilities were spot on. I think that we made use of everything, including the huge BBQ. The pool was well maintained and crystal clear. We were well looked after by Harris, who made sure that we always had fresh bread and oranges, and a supply of his Raki. It is a lovely, quiet location, great for couples, families and grow-ups. It is about a 30min walk down to the town, but easy enough to get a cab back up if you need to. It was worth having a car, but we didn’t always want to drive. We would like to return.

We found the beds to be a bit hard. Everything else was great.

Private pool and large bedrooms. Great hosts .

Proximity to local town made it necessary to have a car. I knew this before going and had a car booked but it was the only downside.

Exceptional

We're so happy that have found this villa! Fully equipped house with nice garden and swimming pool. Very clean and cosy villa. Thanks to the great owners our stay there was incredible! Dear Harris, thank you one more time for fresh bread in the mornings and sweet oranges from your garden! So next time we know where to stay in Crete!

Superb Villa to explore Western Crete 👌

We had a blast at Meliades Villas. The grounds, pool and view are top notch! Haris was an outstanding host and made us feel at home with his generosity and warm demenour. He takes a lot of pride in his Villas and it shows. The location is a perfect home base to explore some of Western Crete's amazing attractions like Balos, Elafanosi and Samara Gorge. We highly recommended staying here.

Exceptional

Such an amazing and peaceful place, it's hard to describe! The house is big enough for a family. Kitchen facilities, washing machine, barbecue, air condition, comfortable beds, good internet... Pool is very clean, big enough for a swim and has an ideal water temperature. We liked the terrace upstairs which is at night cooler than the poolside. Very nice view of mountains, sea, land and sunset. Location is very good: Only 5 minutes drive to Agia Marina where you can find good taverns, beaches and supermarkets. Haris and Yiannis are the most helpful and friendly hosts we have seen. They are reachable anytime. Every morning we found at the door a gift from Haris (Bread, Raki and olive oil from his own production, wine, fruits from his garden...) and gave us one more bottle of his delicious olive oil on the day we left. He has also recommended very good places to eat or visit. We left with very good memories and wish to be able to come again and stay longer.

Only a dish machine is missing in the kitchen. :) We didn't need it at all as we stayed only 5 days, but a regular cleaning service every 3 days would make sense, especially for the pool. Please note that you need a car.

Just perfect!

We have just spent three weeks at this villa and it is just fantastic! Good size rooms and good quality fittings. Good air-con in each room. Tremendous views out to sea across the olive groves. Great outdoor barbecue with wood provided. Good size private pool, very well maintained & not overlooked. Very attentive host with complimentary bread & Raki delivered to your door!

Microwave is a bit temperamental. The cleaning regime could be communicated better- (not done twice a week as described on booking.com)

Wonderful place

We really enjoyed our holidays in Haris and Yannis villa. Everything was perfect, we woke up almost each morning with some good surprises as fresh bread, wine, raki, olive oil. It was a pleasure to talk to Haris. The house has everything you need, not far away from Agia Marina, where you can find everything. The perfect thing was the peace and the quiet place with a superb view. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. We can just recommend this place for your holidays.

5* villa, stunning views, private pool. Villa is well equipped.very kind, helpful and generous owners.if you are looking for solitude and absolute relaxation this place is highly recommended. Car rental recommended but in short distance from northern coastal villages.
