Wonderful location and the young couple that hosted were so accomodating to all our needs.
The linen , towels and bathrobes were quite old.

The view is stunning and the spa pool is located in the perfect place! What a lovely stay! Tim and Lorna were the perfect hosts, they cooked a lovely breakfast and made sure everyone was fine. Definitely coming back!

Difficult to access by bicycle (steep gravel road)

Would of liked a fridge in the room

Views were wonderful and lovely hosts.
Bed,shower and breakfast in the morning excellent
I would have given this property 10/10 but the furniture in the bedroom and fridge need replacing also outside furniture looking very tired, there is a steep gravel driveway but that’s to be expected to be high enough for the views, otherwise wonderful!

Alan and Candace along with their 2 boys were wonderful hosts! It's been a while since I've seen such beautifully mannered kids. We felt like part of their family 😍 Even Buddy their cute little dog won my heart in the end and never failed to startle me by jumping up at me everytime lol! The freshly baked muffins and home baked bread along with a cooked breakfast option felt wholesome and satisfying. They even invited us to dinner on one of the nights to home made beef pies - yum!! The view was just spectacular and uninterrupted. Even the view from the spa which is secluded from the house was amazing, you see right out to the bay and the highway miles away. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the heated floor in the spacious bathroom made all the difference when temperatures dropped at night. It's a beautiful home and we'll definitely be staying here again!
It's not really a dislike but if there was Sky Sport in the room, it would have been great. We ended up watching the rugby on our phone.

drive up there could be more lit up and maintained

Very quiet location and the sea air made us sleep better
The road to the property is rough, a high clearance vehicle recommended

breakfast was made to order with a fantastic view over the bay to the mountains. A great location with great rooms and friendly staff.

Full English breakfast every morning was great
The location is stunning but to get that great view you have to drive up a challenging dirt road. I strongly recommend doing it in daylight the first time.

Glorious bay views from a panoramic deck. Hosts were kind and solicitous, gave quite detailed and specific recommendations for tours/tramps. Bed and room were quite nice, though a tad dated.
Access road a bit of a challenge, due to recent bad weather. Breakfast good, not extraordinary

Excellent views, lovely room, spa pool.
The road to the lodge is quite ‘exciting’ since the recent heavy rains. Four wheel drive was appreciated but not essential.

The view is out of this world

view amazing nice large bedrooms and hot spar. breakfast excellent.
access to the property is an issue given the steep access road to the property and steps to accomodation. Host arranged parking at bottom of property after arrival but still hard to manoeuvre car. property also located up steep hill with unsealed road. more information about access before stay should have been provided.

Well appointed. Lovely views.
Road a bit rough after recent weather events. No luggage racks for cases.

Lovely view and very comfortable room.
Bit of a squiggly road to get there.

Breakfast was great, and the view and spa were incredible. It was a really nice space and the bed was epic. Bathroom was really nice as well.
The room was comfortable, but each room needs its own refrigerator. People often come to the region for wine, so having a nice set of wine glasses would be a bonus as well.

We couldn't get over how amazing the views were. We absolutely love the deck and spa area.
Room was nice and spacious with comfortable beds and a private balcony. The owners were super delightful and easy to deal with, we were made to feel at home. A beautiful breakfast was put together for us as well. We will be back!
Cant fault anything really!

Stunning views from our lovely big room and the breakfast nook overlooking the Abel Tasman National Park. Comfortable bed and spacious well equipped bathroom with a balcony to sit out on if desired. Beautiful big delicious breakfast beyond our expectations. Friendly welcoming hosts.
Few maintenance issues on the outside of the property that need sorting but I imagine with Covid and the pressure the hospitality industry has been under this is understandable. While not a problem to us there are some stairs and a pathway to negotiate from the parking space if you are mobility impaired in any way need to consider. Though I am sure the hosts who were lovely would help you if you advised them in advance. The property is a bit off the beaten track but worth it for the views!

The views from the lodge are absolutely breathtaking! The host is so friendly and we really enjoyed having chats with him over breakfast. The breakfast is fantastic with lots of options. The shower was also amazing! Will definitely stay again.

quite a lot further out of town than we expected and up a windy drive but worth it for the specacular views and privacy.
