Prima gastvrij hotel.

Schone, wellicht nog niet zo lang geleden, gerenoveerde kamer. Prima bedden, grote tv en mooie efficiënte badkamer. Gastvrije bediening en op het terras genoten van een prima keuken. Centrale plek t.o.v. diverse bezienswaardigheden.

Voor sommigen misschien het gemis van een lift, trappen misschien wel een beetje (te?) steil voor de 'minder fitte' gast.

We loved the hotel, the cafe, and the location.

Very comfortable beds. Nice bathroom facilities (including bath tub). Good breakfast. Nice staff.

I liked everything about the hotel. The children found it luxurious 🙂

Ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub in Apeldoorn

Ein sehr schönes gemütliches Hotel in Toplage. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und wurde serviert. Der Frühstücksraum, die Bar und die übrigen Räume im Erdgeschoss waren einmalig schön, man fühlte sich dort sehr wohl. Auch der Außenbereich war sehr schön.

Uns hat alles gefallen.

Een fijn en gastvrij hotel middenin de stad

Het hotel heeft een hele gezellige bar en restaurantgedeelte. Mooie uitstraling rondom de bar. Kamer was goed en bedden prettig. We konden gewoon aanschuiven voor een hapje en ook ‘s avonds was er ruimte genoeg om lekker te gaan zitten voor een drankje. Het ontbijt was erg lekker en ruim voldoende. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en de locatie middenin de stad heel plezierig om vanuit te gaan winkelen.

We vonden het jammer dat we in de serre ons ontbijt moesten eten. We hadden ons verheugd op de eetzaal achterin, met de mooie elementen. In de serre zijn de zitgelegenheden niet comfortabel en het is er minder sfeervol.

Superverblijf en genoten

Voor de tweede keer een kamer in dit hotel geboekt, omdat dit hotel zeer gezellig ligt in het centrum, super leuk hotel. Heeft veel sfeer. Ontbijt en de koffie is super, heel uitgebreid, Ook s avonds hier gegeten en dat was lekker. Personeel zeer vriendelijk. Kamer zeer schoon, fijne frisse bedden, lekkere douche. Eigenlijk alles wat je nodig hebt voor een overnachting. Je zit in het centrum maar daar heb je geen last van met de overnachting. Zeer stil.

Overpriced

Centrally located in Apeldoorn, on city hall square ; close to station (10 min walk), palais Het Loo accessible after 30 min walk and Hoge Veluwe park by bus (bus stop 5 min away). Clean room. View to main square but carillon from city hall at nightime

noisy because of drunk people overnight on main square. Difficult access to rooms because of steep stairs (no lift) and no help from staff to carry luggage ( even for elderly people). Poor touristic information from staff (in fact , staff takes care of the café, and the hotel activity seems extra work). Price was added by local tax (nowere else in NL). No fridge in room. As a side bed for family, was installed a folding bed from canape; the mattress was really thin and poorly comfortable; on arrival, bed linen were not provided and we had to ask for them and do the job ourselves. Really overpriced.

Perfect quick stay to visit family in town.

Did not make use of any amenities, so can't comment fully, but would happily stay again.

The staircase is very steep and slim. Am glad we didn't have big luggage!

Fantastic gem in the centre of the city.

The breakfast was superb, with so much choice and with the option of having eggs cooked a number of ways. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The location was perfect and made getting around very easy.

We loved everything about our stay.

This was my second time here. This room had a separate bathroom and it was so nice and even larger than the room itself . Whole flat belongs to this room, so we didn't mind they were separate (the only thing is you have to get your room card if you want to go to the toilet, otherwise you are locked out.) I am used to cliff-like stairs of Netherlands, no elevator. Overall, very pretty hotel with a great restaurant. Best location..

Absolutely great stay in a simple but extremely comfortable hotel with wonderful breakfast and staff

Very nice location, very good room which was very clean with airconditioning and opening windows. Bathroom was new and clean.The wifi was superb. I was able to do a video conference and stream Netflix without issues. Also enjoyed the breakfast in the wonderful restaurant.

Not so much not like, but one has to take into account that there is a steep staircase and no elevator on the property. Perhaps a little refrigerator would have been nice. Other than that it was perfection.

Nice design of the hotel - good location - poor breadfast - no fresh orange juice, no scrambled eggs

What I did like is the staff at the reception, the cleanness of the rooms and the beautiful design of the room

What I did not like is that if you present scrambled eggs at the breakfast, there was cheese mixed - so the expectation and promise that you will get only eggs, but it wasn'nt - not a nice surprise. Further on the digitalisation is sometimes not working, at the car parking it did not open automatically - I had again to phone to get out of the parking.

Central and Comfy. Super staff.

Very central location, yet quiet. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the breakfasts were great too. We had a big, renovated family bedroom on the top floor. It was confortable and practical with a large double bed, sofa, coffee machine, small fridge, TV.

The sofa bed mattress had seen better days. The fridge needs a defrosting. The staircase is rather steep indeed, it was OK for us but I can imagine it would be a challenge for the elderly.

It was clean and nice, quiet, we got a very nice room with a balcony

The “double bed” were two seperate beds shoved together, not even stuck together. We had to tape them together ourselves to not fall in between during the night
