About this house rental

Oneroa Bay is an immaculately presented stand-alone townhouse in the heart of Oneroa Village, overlooking the beach. Stroll down the 50m private path from your garden to the white sands of Oneroa Beach.

This well presented designer home is laid out over two levels with magnificent views over Oneroa Bay to the Hauraki Gulf. The property is perfect for family groups, featuring a bedroom/lounge/kitchen or kitchenette layout on each of the floors – a total of three bedrooms, two large living spaces and two and half bathrooms.

You enter onto the top floor, which has a large open plan living area, with a designer kitchen, comfortable living area & dining table. Bi-fold doors open onto the deck, which has stunning views over the bay. With options for indoor or outdoor dining, this is a great place for a relaxed meal as the sun goes down!

Also on the top level is the master bedroom with luxurious king bed, ensuite and a generous walk-in wardrobe.

The ground floor has a further lounge and kitchenette, plus bathroom (bath and shower) and the further two bedrooms. This downstairs lounge opens out to a second outside seating area, from which you can wander to the beach through the gated entrance. There is also an outdoor shower on the side of the house and full laundry facilities.

All day sun, views and proximity to the village makes Oneroa Bay the perfect Waiheke Island getaway. You have bars & restaurants on your doorstep, so no need to get in the car at all!

I enjoyed my stay great location for a holiday that involves going to restaurants and shops. Also the beach is super close. Amazing views from upstairs. The bedroom upstairs is very noisy at night. The driveway might be tricky for a nervous driver. Beautifully clean unfortunately the carpet downstairs lets it down a little bit. I would definitely go back but not if I wanted a super quiet going to bed early holiday.

The upper level exceeded expectations because of the view & retractable wall of glass doors/windows. A little noisy in evenings but always quiet by midnight. However, the lower level smells musty & this is where most bedrooms are. Could be problematic if you have allergies. I would give the place 5 stars if it weren’t for that.

Exactly as advertised. Fantastic location, amazing views and great house. Be my guest were fantastic managers - we ran out of water on New Year’s Day and they fixed the problem within hours.

the place needs a proper deep clean. On arrival there was a big coffee looking Stain on carpet downstairs. Generally looking pretty worn I.e shower downstairs is leaking and rotting the carpet, smells rotten and damp downstairs in bedrooms, downstairs toilet cistern won’t stop filling so runs during the night, remotes in tv were not working. For the money I would suggest looking elsewhere.

When we walked in the door - WOW. The whole upstairs was immaculate and spacious, and we could not get over the view of the bay. The house is absolutely central in Oneroa, and loved the ‘village’ atmosphere that we experienced there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We loved it 😀

The property is lovely with amazing views and is in a great location. Only a short stroll to the bay and shops and restaurants. It is however a bit noisy on weekends being so close to the bars. We also felt the downstairs area needs some refurbishment with stained carpets, damp and not exceptionally clean.

Perfectly located in Oneroa township only metres from the Oneroa beach vista in front with restaurants and bars, along with all manner of convenience, grocers, wine, realestate and tourist shops just steps behind, this tidy roomy apartment style house is great for family or friends group wanting that central busy location. Comfortable inside with all expected amenities as well as nice soft beds and seating all around. Off-street parking for one vehicle is available but access is a bit tricky so suits a smaller-sized vehicle.

From the moment I booked until arrival, communication was flawless. On arrival, it was clear the location was perfect snd the house absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views and lovely little touches for us, wine, freshly ground coffee and olive oil. Heartfelt thanks to the owners for allowing us to enjoy the OTH weekend. Memories made forever :) will definitely be coming back. It was magical, thank you for everything.

Very clean, comfortable beds, great view, well set up kitchen except needs better wine glasses and a dish brush & pot kit. Downstairs was a little musty smelling and had to be opened up & aired. Great central location but some noise from the local businesses as a result.

Just a few things. When we arrived there was a constant beeping coming from one of the locked rooms. We sorted this out with the property manager.The auto gates in the drive only partially opened at one stage and my husband had to get out and manually open.We didn't use it, but there is water leaking from the washing machine onto floor of laundry.The main lounge is really cold, the electric fire place isn't enough to warm it up unfortunately. We had a babysitter one night who also mentioned how cold it was.We couldn't get the TV to work, it would switch on but couldn't get any channels or Sky work, quite disappointing.This property would be close to perfect if these issues were sorted.

Beautiful home with fantastic views of the water. We enjoyed many meals on patio enjoying the scenery. The beach was a quick 3 min walk down a private path. The shops / restaurants were conveniently located across the street, a plus since we didn’t have a car. We had no issues with noise. The house has no AC so it can get warm, and opening windows at night invites in mosquitos. But overall a fantastic home and would do it again.

Oneroa Bay is magical. The view is stunning and the lovely beach just a stone throw away, not to mention shops and cafes at your door step literally. The only downside is the noise late at night, but to be honest that did not worry us to much, but I can understand it been a problem for those not happy to listen to the music on offer. The car access is quite step and there is not really any available parking on the street. All in all we would stay there again at the drop of a hat.

Gorgeous relaxing views and cosmetic design. Layout is great, private, well supplied amenities, appreciated local gift. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Great choice of space to spread out. Handy (but overgrown) trail to the beach (finnicky codes). Location is both amazing for access to all things Oneroa and beach, and sucky for the bar noise most nights and associated noises/half hourly glass dumping. Drive way very limited, too steep angles scraped under car, couldn't use, usedpublic park.

The accommodation is situated directly behind a number of Oneroa bars & restaurants which had live music until 1:30am which when you have 3 young kids is not ideal. Further, the lower level of the house was very damp and had a strong mildew odour - again, not ideal for 3 young children. Based on these two things I wouldn't recommended the accommodation.
